We needed this for our Gen 1 and 2 San Raphael toilets that have smaller than normal holes. Finding hardware for these toilets is a pain. Kohler has it for $65 but they are frequently out of stock.These are well made, go in relatively easy and hold well. If you have trouble inserting (Kohler QC passes holes of varying diameters, one of our holes was quite a bit smaller than the other), screw the screw down till it lightly touches the washer and push down on the screwdriver. If the bolts are too short to grab the threads, mount the pieces to the seat first and press them into the toilet. Do not lube the rubber. You want it to grab, not slide back out.If your old hardware is stuck in the holes, drill them out. Don’t waste your time on all the other approaches found on the web or taken by Kohler's retrofit kit. Drilling them out took less than 5 minutes from getting the drill and bit, drilling out the old hardware and putting things away. See YouTube for how to. If you don’t have a drill and locking pliers, buy a new toilet. These San Raphael’s are a constant source of problems, the seat bolts being just one of them.

I used these for the extra small mounting holes on my Kohler, San Rafael - 3466, 3467, 3384 model.They are easy to install and prevent this one piece toilet from leaking. I don’t know how long they will last, but I have three pair, so I can replace the first set in a few years. If they’re anything like the toilet flap, they won’t last more than five or six years. I guess we will see, but I will keep the other pair handy for when the time comes.What I had to do to mount the seat that I wanted though was I had to alter the mounting plastic screws that came with the seat so that I only kept the head. Then I drilled a hole through it to mount to these rubber inserts. I’m quite proud of it, it works well, I understand not everybody is as industrious as I am, but it’s what I had to do and now I can choose the seat that I want on this one piece Kohler

Perfect fit

My Kohler toilet lid has been broken for years. Due to it being a top mount with a riveted nut I couldn’t find anything to fix it, until now. This arrived quickly and worked PERFECTLY. It actually holds my toilet seat better than the remaining Original nutsert

These toliet seat screw fixings worked perfectly in replacing kohler part # 84999. It took no more than a minute to install and my toliet seat is not lose or moving out of place at all. I highly recommend this product. I have previously tried the kohler metal screw anchors as well as plastic ones for my non-standard ridiculously designed Kohler Toliet. There are many replacement options because most of the anchors out there are too big. My Kohler toilet was once a style leader for a low profile toilet. It still looks good but it has a design flaw which makes bolts like this necessary to attach a new seat. These work perfectly.

Bolt is too short

This little part is used as a blind toilet set fastener. In my case, the original anchor broke and had to be forcibly removed, leaving an empty hole with no screw threads. Finding a suitable anchor at the hardware store was impossible. These anchors saved the need to replace the entire toilet.
