I used to buy another brand, and there were a lot of sticks and other debris. This seed is practically stick-free. I've ordered this brand maybe 5 times, so far, and it usually comes in a day. Today I received mine in about 14 hours from when I ordered it! Not really related to the review, but a storage tip: I bought a regular-sized metal garbage can w/lid, heavy chain, and two of those spring-action metal grabber things (sorry, forget what they're called). When I'm down to about 1/4 bag, I order another full bag, and it just fits, nice and snug. 3 yrs later and the squirrels haven't gotten in it. I like not having it inside the house, and this keeps it dry and fresh.

Pieces of debris/stems could clog a feeder.

Very handy to have this large bag delivered instead of trying to find it in a store and bring it home. The birds seem to like it.

I've had problems in the past with grain moths and other insects in seed, but there was no problem with this product. It took a long time to use up the whole bag, but no bugs hatched in the meantime. No worries with this product.
