They call these toys... bah! No grandson or nephew of mine is touching these, they are for my private collection. The figurines aren't really true-to-size as the Velociraptor figurine is almost the same size as the Tyrannosaurus Rex, but I can live with that. These figurines are prominently exhibited on my shelves for everyone to see, but well out of the reach of the littlest grand children. In fairness, these figurines are solidly built and can probably withstand anything that the kids can throw at them, but why test that theory?I really like these! Recommended!

These have weight to them and are very nice. Our toddler is dinosaur obsessed and loves them. Their teeth are a bit sharp so be careful. Nice color and details!!

Edit: We just spent the weekend with the grandsons, and this toy was a HUGE hit! The boys were careful to collect all the small orange screws in a ziplock bag and carefully collected all dinosaur parts in the zippered pouch I had supplied. I suspect we’ll be purchasing more of these cute dinosaurs!What a cute toy!! My twin grandsons are 3 1/2 years old and beginning to show interest in tools and copying their dad. This not only produces a little dinosaur toy, but they will need to learn how to assemble it.This arrived in only a plastic bag, no box, so I’m happy it was not crushed during shipping. The bag contains multiple dino parts, a handful of oversized bright orange plastic screws and a plastic screwdriver. The included instructions are illustrations only, no reading necessary. The instructions display six steps, so this will be great in teaching the boys how to progress step by step and reinforce their counting. It requires some attention to detail, such as noting that the tail is smaller than the head/neck, when attaching parts to the body.I assembled this myself to check for any glitches, and discovered that the pegs that attach the body together were too snug. I can envision a child pulling aggressively on the parts then accidentally breaking them, so I simply used a metal nail file to shave the peg down a tiny bit (see pic). Now the parts are easy to assemble and pull apart again. I located a zippered pouch to keep all the parts in, so nothing will get lost. Since one of the boys is much neater than the other, I’m sure he will make sure all the parts are accounted for and won’t get lost.There are several lessons that little tikes can learn with this cute dino, such as following step-by-step instructions, counting 1-6, use of a screwdriver, critical thinking by identifying which feet are front or back and left vs. right, and putting all parts away after playing with it. Such valuable lessons for a mere $7.99? This little toy may not last for years, but the lessons they learn will. I’m thrilled to be able to share this with them, and will probably be buying more of the other dino models offered, they are all cute!Only because the pegs were too tight, I’m deducting one star. I’m sure parents might also like a little bag to be included, but no doubt it would have added to the price of the toy. A ziplock bag is all that’s required to store parts.I hope you found this review to be helpful!!
