Maxine Of HollywoodShirred Front Surplice One Piece Swimsuit

I bought this suit for water aerobics classes. I love the colors and the modest fit of the leg openings. I wear this every week and get many compliments when I do. The sizing is good for me. When I ordered this I bought two sizes and tried them both on. I ended up with the smaller size of the two and returned the other one.

I started order Maxine of Hollywood one piece swimsuits last year. The 6 fits me well even though the cup size could be larger to accommodate my 32Ds. This is a different style than the other 2 I have , and it fits me even better! One reviewer mentioned underwire even though it doesn’t mention that in the description. It is an underwire suit, and I am so happy! Wish Maxine offered this suit in other patterns besides the one other offered here. Oh, well, I’m happy with this one. I will always check Maxine of Hollywood when I’m looking for a swim suit!

Seriously?! I've worn Maxine's for years and this is the very first time I've encountered the thin, plastic underwire! Returned it immediately!

I have another one of these swimsuits so I wanted to buy another one. I'm 5 feet 8 inches tall and weigh 135 lbs. I have broad shoulders. I ordered size 14. I liked the fact that it is very flattering in the tummy area making you look skinnier there. I would highly recommend this swimsuit. But for me It was too tight at the breast area showing some fat under the arm pit area. Otherwise, I would have kept it..

Two months in Florida, worn every other day to pool and/or beach. That’s a lot of chlorine and salt water- lasted all summer.

Underwire was uncomfortable.

This suit and the print are very flattering.The cut of the legs is not too high.I’m 5’7” with a few extra pounds and it fits nice…with the exception of the underwires.I actually took them out and it fits much better.

I’ve been buying Maxine suits for 20 years, I work out in the pool 2 to 3 times a week - water exercise. This suit fits perfectly and I get a ton of compliments. The fabrics and “chlorine resistance” are variable, but no suit last forever. I like that it covers all the awkward old lady stuff but still makes me look cute.

I love the fit across the breasts but the legs are always too loose so I take the legs in by approximately 1 inch on each side. Then it’s perfect.

Pretty, tropical-looking bathing suit, tummy control.

I wanted to love this bathing suit because of the beautiful color but the top just isn't right. The white material of the wired bra shows when I put bathing suit on and overall that section is just not made well. I had hoped I could fix it myself but after looking at it again, I know that would not work. So, unfortunately I need to return.
