Generally my mom or other family memebers take my stuff I buy cause they like but this one right here ain’t leaving my sight! Buy this set! Or give it as a gift. Either way, whoever owns it will love it!

They say they have an exclusive taper grind edge technology that provides optimum sharpness for precise cutting and easy to re-sharpen with the included sharpener.There are 15 pieces which include:8" bread knife8" chef knife8" carving knife7" santoku knife5" utility knife3.5" paring knife4.5" steak knife1 pairs of kitchen shears1 kitchen knife sharpener steel and1 Acacia knife blockThis is a good knife set! I like that the knife block rotates it makes it easier to grab what you need. They feel nice in your hand and are weighted nicely which helps with hand fatigue when you have a lot of cutting to do. Each knife is also labeled: bread, utility, chef, slicing, paring etc. They are sharp, use caution when using them as well as cleaning them. In order to protect the knives DO NOT wash them in the dishwasher the water is too hot and will affect the sharpness and the glossiness of the knife. I like these there a nice set and they look great on my counter.

It is worth noting that recently I got divorced and I am working to replace various items that I lost in the divorce. One of the things I lost was the set of knives. Perhaps I should get a better lawyer since I lost something as potentially trivial as a set of knives… But I digress.It is also worth noting that in the past I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on high-end knives. Let’s be clear, I don’t know if I really realize that somebody else was spending this money on my knives… But they were. I just wanted a solid, quality, versatile set of knives and in this set I got that. First and foremost, as they are sitting on the counter all the time, they look great. Good quality block as well as the knives themselves. As for the knives themselves, as you can see there are many different types of knives for whatever you need big to small as well as other items you would need in the kitchen. They come sharp but I sharpen them up myself as I like to do that and they are incredibly good. Would highly recommend.

Good variety of knives, sturdy build, nice centers of gravity, the swivel stand for the block is pretty awesome tooNegatives: could use a flexible boning knife in place of one of the stiff filet knives to really balance the set, the matte finish on the block shows fingerprints real easy and they should consider glossing it instead, and the blades are a little dull coming brand new and could use a better sharpening before they're boxedTo be more specific? The chefs knife and the santoku knife have an excellent center of gravity and really are comfortable in my hand. The handles are very ergonomicThe knives look pretty good but need sharpened. I suspect they won't hold an edge well based on that but we will see. They feel super nice in the hand. It also came with a honing steel

The media could not be loaded.  This is an absolutely awesome knife set!The block spins very smoothly. While having a block that spins isn’t a necessity it’s pretty awesome to have that feature. The knives are very sharp and the ones that I’ve tried cut well. The knives were also easy to hold and I wasn’t worried about my hand slipping. The steak knives in particular have large ridges that make cutting a breeze.I think the set looks very attractive. This also comes with kitchen shears and a knife long steal knife sharpener. Every piece this comes with has a home in the Acacia knife block. The one thing to keep in mind when buying this is that it’s not recommended to put the knives in the dishwasher.I think for the price this knife set and block is an amazing value.

So, the knives themselves are pretty great. They are VERY sharp so be careful. The knife block, however, started fade on the edges just a few weeks after receiving it. We haven't even touched it much other than to move it to our new place (and we had it wrapped very nicely in bubble wrap). It looks really worn now like we've had it for years, so that's sad. I don't like having something in my kitchen that looks like this already when I've only had it for a few weeks. (See pics.) I would not get this again and wouldn't recommend it unless you don't care about how the block looks.

This knife set does not disappoint! Yes it is expensive, but it is well worth it. The knives are made out of even and high quality steel and very well polished. every knife is extremely sharp, even the scissors cut very well. I especially like the rotating block, as it makes it easy to grab a knife when in the middle of cooking. The black and silver look is also very modern. I highly recommend this block!

I had never heard of this brand but wanted to give this set a chance and I'm so glad I did. The handles are beautiful, the knives are super sharp and heavy duty. The stand turns which is such a nice add to my counter, and the quality is awesome. I have used the scissors multiple times already and the bread knife and all of them worked perfectly. I also love that they include a steel to keep my knives at their very best.
