Errors!!!!
Dear author, there are several mechanical errors. Loss of quotation marks, missing period etc. Contact your editor! Otherwise great book! My son is turning 14 next month. I am sure he is at the tip top of the audience age range or even completely out of the age range which looks like 7 to 12 or so. But he is very young at heart still and obsessed with animals, like obsessed. He wants to be a zoologist, hes very good at life science and studies animals constantly. He's also an avid reader and excellent speller. He is obviously knocking these out quickly, like other books, but still worth the money because he can't put them down! I love seeing my kids with a book they can't put down! :) However, his age and advancement is probably why he notices the errors. Maybe youngers ones don't but please, please reprint with zero errors. Good luck and excellent stories! We love them. :) ~ happy mom :)

The Ominous Eye: The Nocturnals
We didn't read the first book so we didn't know what to expect with this book. I was afraid it was going to be to babyish for my 7 year old but I couldn't have been more mistaken. This is a cute book with beautiful illustrations and a fun story. More importantly it shows that friends can be very different and have respect for those differences. They work together to solve a mystery and along the way help others, and each other. It's funny, charming, educational, we loved it. It's great for all ages, whether you're reading to younger kids as a bedtime story, or older kids are reading it by themselves.

She's loving this book/series
My 5th-grade loves this book. It's her first time reading through the series and it's one of the few that hooks her in and wanting to read the next one 🙌🏽

We paid for a new retail book but received an advanced copy which means it is not the exact text as the final book
"NEW" book but it is an advanced copy which means it is not the exact text as the final book - contains advanced copy markings and some typos, different illustrations etc from the final book - this was not disclosed and although not a huge deal - we paid for a new retail book
