Great cleaner for wine making containers. Cleans well without leaving soapy residue that can kill the taste of the wine. Use this on all equipment and so far it has been excellent. Price was good also. Recommend.

I am a homebrewer and I’m constantly buying cleansers and sanitizers to brew my beer. PBW is a no brand of cleanser for restaurant and brew makers Alike. Why pay more when you can purchase the same product at a lower price for the same product?

Excellent product for cleaning brewing equipment. The product is a little pricey. I am considering looking for other options that may cost less.

This 4lb jar is my second purchase of PBW Cleanser. I bought 1 lb before to try it out. The review below is a copy of my review for the 1 lb one.I came across this cleaner while looking for something strong to remove old badly baked grease from frying pans. I had no expectations it will work. To my great amazement it did!!!There are some limitations though. It works wonders on anodized cookware, stainless steel, hard enamel. It needs time and temperature. You need to immerse the cookware in a large pot and heat it to boil several times during 24 hours or so. Scrubbing is not needed after on most coatings.Made badly stained enamel tea pot white again. I was very surprised.It tarnishes bare aluminum. It did not even made a dent in the black crust on a sand cast aluminum frying pan.Still not sure about teflon coating. I experimented with one old and quite beaten. It seemed the teflon chipped in a few spots. It may be very well because that teflon was just at the end of life and came off by age and prior abuse. I'd ask the manufacturer before experimenting with newer and expensive teflon cookware you are not ready to throw away.In summary, this PWB cleaner is a must in any kitchen!

This is a staple for brewing. Great price and the right quantity. I brew a half barrel at a time so I use a lot of PBW. I am always happy with this when I order it.
