This is a goodly amount of fresh pungent ginger for the price. I've used it in recipes, cookies and gingerbread. I also freeze fresh ginger and sometimes combine both, for an extra pungent taste. This had a nice fresh smell to it and was well packaged. The price was quite fair for the quantity you receive. I think you'll be quite happy with this.My sister likes to add a little to her hot tea and swears it prevents her from getting colds. I don't know about that. In the past I've always used the regular paprika and generally felt that it lacked flavor but did not know of any alternatives. Then I learned about the smokey variety, bought this brand and it has changed my life, lol. From the moment the package was opened I could smell the "smokey-ness", then I tasted it and was just as pleased. This stuff wakes up the flavor of really anything it's put on and now I put it on a lot of different foods from broiled shrimp to red beans and rice and it's great! I have a half a jar of the regular kind of paprika still left but I don't even use that anymore it just sadly sits on the shelf and jealously watches me as I grab its more flavorful counterpart....oh well, should've been born smokey. I should also mention that what I paid for this is an extra bonus, smoked and organic? Oh yeah win win!

We add this to our coffee and teas. Taste great and it’s organic. Would buy again

Great flavor and I can't get enough of it.Ran out and had to get some more!To me, regular paprika seems kind of sad compared to this.(I used a leftover spice jar to easily sprinkle it.)

Product taste is what I was hoping for. It has a good (i.e. strong) smokiness level and tastes natural - not like fake smoke (or liquid smoke type product). Little to no heat from the paprika (but I wasn't expecting any).A great addition to chili, mac & cheese, scalloped potatoes or basically any dish that could benefit from a little smokiness. This adds a something special when sprinkled on popcorn (along with the salt of course). Packaged in a plastic bag, so save your old spice bottle or supply a new one.

When I ordered this, the product description claimed this to be “Vietnamese” organic cinnamon. It has taken me almost two weeks to provide the review as we wanted to use the product a few times, and in that time the product description has been updated to simply state “organic.”The true test was use of this cinnamon in a spice cake, and it blended with other spices very nicely for a spice cake with depth.The good: the color is rich with a slightly darker reddish brown color. Finely ground, which is expected. Compared to some other Ceylon and “table” style cinnamon, this product has more robust flavor, with just the perfect amount of spice.The bad: at nearly $5 for 1.7 ounces, the price is akin to truly validated Vietnamese Saigon products (Pride Of Asia Saigon Cinnamon Powder, Authentic Sing... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CZB84YP/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_glt_i_0G88V8JXXZ8P6YPZSEX2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1)The ugly: the packaging does not lend itself to daily use - is more intended as a baking or cooking dry ingredient. Packaging update for more varied use would be nice, but would also involve more materials that turn into waste.Overall, this cinnamon, even if not the Vietnamese seems a slightly richer quality than many products here on Amazon. It works extremely well for baking.However, compared to the convenience of packaging and the “real deal” Vietnamese cinnamon such as the comparable product listed above which costs $1.60 per ounce that is significantly less than this product’s $2.94 per ounce. San Fran Salt Co may be a go-to quality spice on the West coast and all, but that is irrelevant in the larger market that cares little about branding.While I notice that the potentially “fade” claim of Vietnamese has been removed from the product description (that would have been a 2 star review tops), it comes down to this is good cinnamon with unspecified origins/type, but priced as if it is the exclusive real thing - I would ultimately recommend the other products that taste, smell - and are validated - as Vietnamese Saigon cinnamon, and at a lower price point per ounce than this product. 4 stars overall given these considerations.
