They now pair easily with Vera Plus
I bought 3 of these 14 months ago and simply could not pair them with my brand new Vera Plus. All sorts of coding tricks on the web, I followed about 4 different tricks on the web involving scripts you load into Vera and some other urban legend approaches on the web. I am a programmer, so not to difficult to follow the advice (technical or not). After a week of headache, no good, would not pair, returned all 3. Now 14 months later with the same Vera Plus Controller (running the latest firmware of course: 1.7.3532) everything is so different! Fibaro is in the list of items to add, and pairing worked first attempt. Just follow the instructions - which include images of what to do, and Presto! Now I press the button once to turn my home theater lights on and twice to turn them off. Its all I wanted all along. Expensive, but so much more convenient than logging onto my phone, opening an app, drilling down to the scenes area and pressing 'on'.

Working perfect on my SmartThings Hub (Update: but junk build so failed soon after)
Working perfect for me on my SmartThings network. Reports of delays, ignored presses etc are likely due to weak zwave mesh or other configuration issues. Taking one star off because price seems steep for a simple button.UPDATE:Reducing my rating to 1 star. These buttons are garbage. I have two of them and they worked OK when I initially set them up, then they started working randomly about 1 month later. Now 4 months later they don't work at all. They send battery status and "Woke" events when I press the button but button pressed and button held events are never sent.I contacted fibaro support. They told me the buttons likely need to be replaced so I should ship them to Poland at my expense via DHL if I want replacements. Seriously, I have to pay to ship them to Poland when it is a defective device.DON'T BUY THESE!Fibaro: Take these off the market and replace with a better design!

I'm using this with my Samsung Smartthings hub. I had to download a device handler from the Smartthings forums, but now it works fine. Single and double button presses are the most reliable. The more button presses, the less consistently it seems to work.

Works, sometimes...
This was fairly easy to set up, and add to smart things… I was able to create some automations based off of a single button press or a hold. The problem is, it seems to fall asleep after a while and the only way to get it to work again is to hit it several times until it starts to respond. When it’s working, it works great. If you walk into a dark room hours later expecting to hit a button and have and automation turn on lights, it may or may not happen unless you hit it three or four times first.I don’t know if the intention was to save battery life or not, but even with the way it currently works, battery life didn’t seem to last very long. I had it in place for about a month before getting warnings that the battery was low on my device, I haven’t been using it lately and have not replace the battery. I don’t know if a brand new battery would last longer than the one that came with it. It’s a nice novelty,But for my purposes I wanted more reliability

Ignore the bad reviews if you have any idea what you're doing with home automation.
I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about. I don't use SmartThings so I can't speak to that, but connected to my Vera Plus, it does exactly what it's supposed to. There's no issues with "going to sleep" or "pressing a button to wake it up". It just works. 1 press, 2 presses, 3 presses, 4 presses, 5 presses, all recognized just like it claims. With a little logic you can have 1 of the states toggle a device, which prevents having to use 2 states to turn on/off. There's one review stating it doesn't work with Vera, and that was true when the review was left, when Vera openly admitted not supporting the device at the time. Vera supports the device fully now, and it works as expected. I read through the reviews and thought surely this device can't be that bad. Couple that with the technical know-how of most of the people that leave amazon reviews, and turns out I was right. This device is great. Buy it.

Barely a button.
If you are looking for a button with a satisfying click or a cool factor - this is probably not it. The button needs to be pulled up sometimes to reset, it doesn't really "click." I was hoping for something that felt somewhat solid and well built at this price point, but it feels cheaply made. Even something similar to an elevator button or a doorbell fees much better than this. Since it doesn't reset all the way, the clicks don't always seem to register especially in the 2/3/4 click mode. It did pair with the system, it was packaged nicely and was delivered as expected, but the product itself is regrettable.

Unreliable, quick to die...
After setting up the button I found it wasn't very reliable. Most the time the first click would seemingly be completely ignored, meaning every time I wanted to trigger it I had to double tap it.Of course, seeing as the button is designed to detect the number of taps and allow different actions, and seeing that every once in a while it would properly detect the first click, it meant I could not set the button up to have different actions with different number of clicks, because there was no telling weather pressing the button 3 times would trigger the double click action or the triple click action...And of course, sometimes even multiple clicks would be ignored completely, meaning I would first have to click the button twice, wait several seconds, then click the button twice again to get the action to occur. All of this is now moot, however, as after 3 months or so the button is now completely bricked. I tried replacing the battery but it had no effect...

Great option for home automation - but needed a bit of work to get it to work with SmartThings. In the SmartThings environment, you need to use the CoRE smart app. Other than that, does what it should.

Caveat Emptor
Not as big as I was expecting. Works fine with my Vera plus, but not very robust (i.e. cheap plastic). Not expecting this to last long.
