I have fair skin and blue eyes and regularly feel like I’m being personally victimized by the sun. I took the plunge and ordered this baby and now I reign victorious over the assault of the sun’s blinding rays.Is it stylish? No. Is it in any way flattering? Also no. Do people look on with shock and envy when you wear this beast out? Sometimes.I have a giant head and this fits with room to spare, plus it could be sized down for all you tiny headed people with the included toggle strap. I leave mine loose and either secure the chin strap in case of high winds, or walk on the wild side, knowing my hat may fall off.It’s lightweight. It’s vented to reduce head sweating. It drys quickly and I usually wear it swimming. The brim is sturdy and reshapes fine after the water.The brim is HUGE all the way around. It deflects the sun’s harmful rays. It performs exactly as one would desire a sun hat to.Buy one. Heck, buy four.You might look like a misplaced explorer, but it’s worth it.

It`s not the most stylish hat but it does what it`s suppose to do. It keeps the sun off my face. I use this hat when I`m outside doing yardwork, gardening or when i`m at the local u-pick. It is a light hat that is very well ventilated and it works for me.

Purchased as a gift (male) who has very strong sun sensitivities and he loves it. Appeared to be decent quality. Seem sewing appears strong, fabric appears to have strength yet fabric flexible.Bottom Line: Happy with purchase for gift, pricing was fair at time of writing this. Will purchase again if same or less in price. Definitely will not purchase again if price increases.

I have a big head, size 8 with a 25 inch diameter. Much to my delight this hat actually fits. The wide brim keeps the sun off the tip of my nose and the flap at the back not only keeps my neck from getting burned but also keeps the darn deer-flies from biting me. So this is really a great hat, I wear it fishing.ButMy spouse is very clear that this hat is never to be worn in public... it's that ugly. LOL.
