The Joy of Children's Literature (What’s New in Education)

This was a really informative textbook. I rented it and the condition was rough, but it worked for the semester. It also gives a lot of examples of children's literature that are good for reading.

This book has a lot of good information about children's literature, but I have a couple problems with it. When the author mentions social issues, it seems as though most of the time it's talking about the same social issue. Also, the chapters all have the same basic structure, and not all of them really need all of the sections that are in them, so it tends to get really repetitive.

this book didn't mesh well with the classroom lectures.i got little from it. required for class otherwise i'd not have gotten it at all.

This item came on time. it's a little worn down, but readable.

It's a required book for a class, and thankfully we were aloud to have the earlier edition! It's a good book and definitely something that is a good book to learn about children's literature.

I wish I had bought this book instead of renting it.

I thought the picture on the cover would git the whole cover and just a small portion of it. Secondly, the book worn out much more than I expect, but it is workable. My overall rating is 3 stars.
