Whats there to not like about these beauts! Delivered today @17500/- , made of suede leather and mesh fabric and encased with their own ELICIA system, boasting of AKU own tenuta sole compound , 2mm to 4mm lugs , the sole has a unique design and lugs are placed in a way to encourage the natural walking gait of a person. The fit is perfect. I wear UK 11...USA 12. Its not a wide feet boot ..the width across is 4inches which fits most medium size feet. Goretex lined . Excellent...i mean...just Excellent ortholite insoles which are just heavenly. The boots are 550gms weight per boot, so its not exactly lightweight category. They sent two different pairs of laces inside the box...one blue and one orange to match the accents of the shoes colorway schematic. Will be updating after 3 months exactly and write about actual daily experience of wearing these boots. This is my second pair from AKU. Had bought selvatica mid gtx last year and i can tell you...these guys are just head and shoulders above the other manufacturers like salomon, keen, etc. The only guys who cab match them would be LOWAS, but for the price to performance/durability ratio...lowas are more expensive and heavier but again worth it. If you ever considering Salomon...i have only one word for you....................Dont !
