Stainless Steel Covered Butter Dish, 7.25 by 4.85 by 2.25-Inch, Brilliant Finish

Great product - looks stylish in a stainless steal kitchen with granite counter tops. You must break the butter in half to get a stick to fit in the dish but after that it. It is extremely easy to clean and feels solid when you hold it in your hand.My only complaint with the product is it holds finger prints on the outside pretty well - but thats not a big enough deal to bring down the product.Highly recommended

We wanted something other than a cheap, plastic butter dish. This dish is well made and comes in a nice, cloth presentation bag which adds a measure of quality.Be aware that the dish is perfect for the shorter butter sticks. You can cut the longer sticks in half and put two halves in side-by-side. We are able to purchase the shorter sticks here so it's perfect.The top is very smooth and shiny so it's subject to finger prints as others noted but it's no big deal. Note the width(depth) of the dish is 4.85" so this may be a concern if your refrigerator butter keeper is not too deep. We didn't have a problem with this.Great looking, and recommended.

...two things work against this from a product design standpoint: 1) the cover fits loosely (not air tight) 2) without a finger pull on top you have to grab the cover with your hand, covering the shiny cover with fingerprints, smears and smudges.

While this product is certainly as durable as I expected, which is why I bought it, the cover slips off a little too easily. I wouldn't want it to be hard to remove, but I would like it not so shift when you lift the two-piece dish. And as with all stainless steel, fingerprints are pretty easy to leave behind. It's also a bit wider than I expected. But, it will never break which is why I bought it so for that I'm pleased with it.

Nice chrome butter dish. Has held up well to a few months of use and trips through the dishwasher.

This is a wonderful dish. It looks very nice and fits perfectly in my fridge. It is light weight, so very good to move around. We use it a lot, so light weight works very well for us. It is true that the finish shows finger prints easily but there is no escaping them in any kind of butter dish. The best part is the metal. We have already broken two glass dishes :)
