A heart-rending read
This is of its nature a dreadfully upsetting book as the author relates her son Lloyd's life with a terminal brain tumour.I would be less than honest if I didn't say I found Elaine's obsessive clinging love very slightly disturbing but it undoubtedly comforted the poor little lad undergoing terrible treatments and ultimately dying. His mother was outstandingly brave but I cannot but think had Lloyd survived, his mother's overwhelming love might have swamped him as he grew up. I can imagine no worse pain than losing a child at whatever age so I hope this book will comfort people in a similarly agonising position.

Heartbreaking Memoir
This Memoir by Lloyds Mum is a beautifully told Story about the Tragic loss of her Son.It is also extremely sad & heartbreaking to read. I feel frustrated on Poor Lloyds behalf that he suffered so much.Forever young Lloyd.

Mum & Sons Journey
This book is very moving and sad, but portrays Lloyds very brave journey of endourence throughout his short life, but it is a window into the emotional times of Mother and son, and the Rays of sunshine that he brought to his family and people that he met along the way...Although a sad read this book definitely should be added to your "Library"

My best friend ❤️
Found this book after thinking about my best friend as it draws closer to his birthday ❤️ I, like Lloyd was only 10 when this happened he was only born two weeks before me. I think about him every year as Halloween approaches. I couldn't believe it when I found this book and reading it just brings back so many memories, it's crazy how much you remember from such a long time ago. I still have the necklace his mum Elaine gave me when he passed. We lived in the same street, went to the same schooland my dad even taught the judo class and I just loved him to bits. I love Lloyd Elaine and Gareth oh so very much. I hope this book helps people as much as it brought up memories for me.
