Air Fryer XL by Cozyna (5L) with airfryer cookbook (over 50 recipes)

If anyone else find that the plastic time knob breaks, "uxcell Timer Knobs Range Replacement Knobs Time Control Knob Cross Shaft for Electronic Microwave Oven Cooker 5pcs" is a perfect replacement part and has saved the life of my airfryer.I love this product and was afraid I had worn it out.

I received my XL fryer yesterday. I initially ordered the smaller one but wasn't happy with the time it took to fry 4 thighs (55mins) so I returned it and reordered this bigger one....glad I did. I immediately used it to make salmon (about a size of 2 of my palms together) with just a dash of oil...12mins on 360deg came out perfect. Here's my BUT....I noticed that the basket wasn't going in smoothly. I had to pull it out and push in 6 times to get it to latch properly (or the unit won't turn on) but I was running late for work so I ignored it. Tonight I decided to make roasted game hen. 2 fit in the basket easily. Same issue I had...dumb basket won't go in again! Pulled it out, pushed it in at least 8 times. I was so frustrated I emailed the company. Desperate to fix the issue because I really liked my fryer and don't want to have to return it again I searched YouTube and voila! A 30sec video of "How to properly slide in the basket-Cozyna air fryer XL"!!! Problem solved! Apparently others are having this same problem..so save yourself the aggravation and watch the video on YT. Overall a great unit. I suggest buying XL if you're cooking for more than just yourself. I also ordered the universal accessories also sold by the same company ($35). Great alternative to preparing food with less guilt.Warning: do not put it anywhere where things can melt. I it had by the window and it warped my vertical blinds. I now put it on my island away from anything!

I've got no complaints about this fryer. I read so many reviews and it was pretty overwhelming but in the end I'm glad I went with this Cozyna XL. I am not good in the kitchen so I was afraid it would be difficult but it's so easy. I started using it the next day, and that's unusual for me - (I am known for leaving things in the box or off to the side for MONTHS before using) . Then I used it every day for the next 3 days, a few times a day! I made steaks and also heated up leftovers we'd normally leave at the restaurant because they don't reheat well. Chicken tenders, fries, onion rings, cheese sticks, and zucchini sticks and leftover pizza - and everyone agreed, even my pickiest eater with autism - said it tasted like it just got served in the restaurant. Made frozen egg rolls (which I normally hate), frozen mini corn dogs, frozen pizza puffs and frozen fries - everyone in the family gobbled it up and said it tasted way better than the oven. (I don't deep fry...ever!) I wondered if I'd get much use out of it, as everyone's reviews of frozen French fries and chicken wings didn't sound healthy to me and I'm not even a big fan of those 2 items. But it turns out I have a lot more uses for it in my kitchen than I anticipated! (Delicious restaurant leftovers alone saves money and time!) I can't wait to try fresh fish and other healthy and tasty options. It also washes out soooo easy. And the Cozyna people have been so helpful with my questions, responding fast and also proactively reaching out to me to see how things are going. I'm glad I made the leap and bought this fryer! I can't wait to buy their 5-piece accessory kit so I can do other things with it, too.

I love the idea of the air fryer and I think I will use it a lot, however I was disappointed with the few recipes that come with the product and they are not very helpful or clear, they call for you to use a "oven proof" plate or dish in a lot of cases, the directions are not very specific on the owner manual, I tried to use the air fryer last night and could not get the bottom of the cooker to go in all the way, troubleshooting suggests that there is too much food in there (not the case) or the basket is not engaged correctly (not the case). 30 minutes later, I was just about ready to give up and tried one last time to push the bottom in, and it worked. If I continue to have this problem, I will have to send it back. Cozyna is a great small appliance company, that is why I choose this product, hopefully I will continue to use it and not have this particular problem again, we will see. In the meanwhile I plan on using it often. Happy Air Frying!!

I have had several deep fryer's and I hate them, because the oil starts smelling horrible and it's really hard to throw it away somewhere. I recently lost the cord to my deep fryer, because it's a magnetic cord which I hated. When I looked on Amazon for a deep fryer, the Air Fryer's came up also and I looked through them all for about 3 days before I choose the Cozyna. I was larger than all the rest and the list of things that you can cook in it is amazing. I loved that you did not have to use oil or if you did it was very little, because I have IBS and greasy foods do not agree with me. For the first time, I made tater tots tonight and they were so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with no greasy texture. I am very pleased with my purchase. The owner's of the company are awesome, they have emailed me several times to make sure that I got my item and everything was in the package, plus to see if I have any questions or concerns and that I am happy.

I have used my new Cozyna Air Fryer once since receiving it several days ago. The very first things I tried preparing in it were fried chicken fingers, and French fries. They were really good, and my grandson gave them a big thumbs up. The French fries were so crispy that I had to make two batches - the first one I set the timer too high, and they were so crispy they sounded like potato chips when we bit into them. I will definitely use my new kitchen gadget more often in the future. Most of the time I'm cooking only for myself, and it ease of use and easy clean up make it appealing for a variety of meals.
