Good one but to short
The story line was new and different, but felt as if it was teied to be fitted in a too short span of time or within just few pages. There coukd had been some build up but it started amd ended also instantly.I liked the thought process of tye story line which Intruiged me in first place to read this book. But as i said it wrapped up to early that it felt as a hurried attempt by the author. The story concept and etc was good but i am giving 3 stars as i felt that there was potential in this subject bit the author just tried to tie the ends and finish it.Even the sex scenes felt like unemotional and hurried up.

Heartbreaking
This is a novella/short story, from Rachels Players Gamebook series. It's best to read Infraction first so you get the back story. This was in Rachels newsletters. I absolutely love Rachels books. This is Jax's story. It's so heartwrenching. If you love moody (american) football🏈 players and want to find out if he gets his girl, life and his game back on track, this is for you.

A Beautiful Story
I'm an emotional wreck after this beautiful and heart breaking novella. The story grabbed me from the start, broken hearts, amnesia and soul deep love in bucket loads. A brilliant read which I'll revisit again.

3.5 stars--heart breaking and impassioned
3.5 stars--MVP by Rachel Van Dyke is a contemporary, adult, stand alone romance novella in the author’s PLAYERS GAMES series, focusing on Bellevue Bucks quarterback Jax Romonov, and yoga instructor Harley. MVP can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary.Told from dual first person points of view (Harley and Jax) MVP follows the rekindling romance and relationship between Bellevue Bucks quarterback Jax Romonov, and yoga instructor Harley. One year earlier Jax and Harley’s life fell apart. The death of their infant daughter followed by the breakup of their relationship culminated in disaster when Harley lost her memory after a devastating accident. Fast forward to present day wherein Harley begins to remember bits and pieces about the past, a past that comes full circle with Jax Romonov. What ensues is the rebuilding relationship and romance between Jax and Harley as they navigate the return of Harley’s memories, and the grief that tore them apart.MVP is a story of secrets, lies, love and loss. Originally released as a bi-weekly newsletter serial MVP focuses on the aftermath of one family’s struggle with death, guilt, grief and depression., Rachel Van Dyken pulls the reader into a fast paced and impassioned, emotional and heart breaking story with a happily ever after. My one regret is the limited history and backstory between our leading couple.

Review for MVP by Rachel Van Dyken
I became obsessed with Jax and Harley's story on Book+Main and I was so happy to be able to read it in it's entirety! They went through something that's anyones worst nightmare. What Jax thinks is Harley's second chance is actually Harley's nightmare because she knows that something big happened to her but doesn't know what and no one will tell her because Jax believes he is helping and protecting her when in reality it's hurting them both; being apart of each other. Through the help of Daisy they are able to get their lives back on track and have the future they had had before but one that was cut short. Their story was an emotional rollercoaster that had me laughing, holding my breath and crying but one that will forever be engraved in my heart!
