McClure'sBloody Mary Mixer, 32 oz

We have bloody Mary’s at my house every Sunday! My son brought a couple of jars of this to share, and we all decided this was the best we’ve ever had! You need to add absolutely nothing but vodka to this and you will have a very special bloody Mary. At least our family think so and I order this at least twice a month. Very very good. Great pickles too.

First time having Bloody Mary mix that contained pickle juice. It is a very good flavor. I would like a bit more spice to balance the pickle juice, but I am definitely going to be ordering more.

We ordered this bloody mix as it is rated one of the top mixes in the US on many articles. However, when we received this shipment from Amazon, the button was already “popped” on the lid, and the contents were EXTREMELY sour and foul. We contacted the company directly, as Amazon is not doing returns on this item, and they had wonderful customer service + sent us a new shipment immediately. Once we received the new jar, we compared the 2, and the first one from Amazon was definitely rancid and had been open throughout the entire shipment, and the second jar from the company was delicious. From this experience, we will be ordering directly from McClures from now on!!!

Multiple searches shows this as the best out there. The taste was too much like pickles and we couldn’t drink it.

The mix had a good taste but it was just way too spicy for me. It arrived very carefully wrapped.

This was a great Bloody Mary mix right out of the jar which is always best for me! I was looking for something comparable to the “big dill” mix but was intrigued by the option for a little bit of heat. This was definitely spicy but just at the right point where it was still enjoyable.

I really wanted this mix to be good. The reviews seemed great, it was sold out at my local Meijer which is another sign its popular AND from the nutrition label on the grocery stores web site, the sodium level wasn't too bad. Something around 200 mg / per 4 ounce serving. Listen, I know most folks chuggin down Bloody Mary's aren't usually worried so much about their sodium intake but me? I gotta try to limit it. Here's the thing: I don't know what's goin on with that label on the website but it aint 200 some mg. McClures own website lists it at 829 mg per 4 ounce serving. The bottle I got from Amazon? A WHOPPING 916 mg/4 ounces. What's up with that by the way?? I know what you're thinking, no that's not why I gave it 2 stars. Most folks don't care how much damn salt is in it. It's a 2 because it tastes like..............well like nothin'. It's basically flat. Flat tasteless tomato water with a lot of pepper. A LOT of pepper. Interestingly, it looks like it should taste better. If it tasted as good as it looks, it would be great. I compared it to a Bloody Mary made with Tres Agave and it wasn't even close. If you buy it, you're not gonna throw it down the kitchen sink, but you aint pullin' it out for friends on Saturday night either.
