Guerilla Child A life out of Chaos

As someone closely following the political turbulence of North East and particularly, of Assam, the set of poems just gave a different perspective to the whole affair. They make you sympathise with the child, see the world through her eyes. Now she is ready to put down her thoughts and memories to paper. In one line: a must read.

By not glorifying the struggles and glittering the cause, but rather delving deeper into the social and psychological concerns of those directly involved, the author has created a sublime work. Certain phrases are painted so vividly, it rolled my eyes and sent chills up my spine! In addition, the author does not shy away from implicitly highlighting the political undertones of the time. Having read works and commentaries that were divorced from reality and distant from the ground of action, the book being the closest one can get to the actuality was certainly a refreshing read.
