You Wouldn't Want to Be a Medieval Knight: Armor You'd Rather Not Wear

I couldn't put it down! Once I started reading all of the short blurbs about the different parts of being and living in that Medival World, I was hooked. The pictures are perfectly awesome and corny...even of the not so pleasant part of living at that time. Excellent way to introduce kids to history!

I teach medieval world history and I added this book to my collection for my 7th grade kiddos. It is quite long, but i chose specific pieces to share. We especially liked the page's that explained the significance of Jerusalem and the new knowledge gained by Europe.

I was disappointed in the condition of this book. The seller said it was in "very good" condition, but it had bottom corners of pages that were missing through half of the book and the other corners were bent. The cover was bent, and it had hardened food stuck on some of the title on the front cover. The best that I could have called this book as a seller would have been "fair".

WE LOVE THIS SERIES! We are leaning about the crusades in our history this year and my kids love these books. So much great information packed into these little books.

I used this series of books for a quick and easy reference guide in case there was a little detail I couldn't remember or wasn't sure about. These do the trick!

The copy I received arrived with water damage. Very disappointing.

Lively writing and clever caricature-style color illustrations bring energy and animation to accurate facts about the life of a knight in the Middle Ages. Ages 8-14.

Thought provoking for knight-mad youngster!
