I've really enjoyed having these soup spoons.. they are super nice and well balanced in your hand.. not heavy or dull... I got some for the Church Ladies and we enjoy them to the fullest.. I'm planning on buying these for wedding presents .. we just love them..

These soup spoons do not have a deep bowl for your soup. For a man, the handle might be a tad too short also.Overall, they appear as pictured. They are not too heavy but not too light either. I don't know about rust, but I don't plan on using them much so I am not worried.I wish I could have given them 4 1/2 stars because they are exactly what you are looking at on the screen with the exception of the too shallow spoon bowl.Someone mentioned that they were sharp on the side and could cut your mouth. I checked all of them thoroughly. There is nothing sharp nor any nicks.I think most people will be happy with them especially if they are purchasing them to go with the matching set of flatware.

I take soup spoons pretty seriously - I always insist on eating soup with the same old battered spoon that came with an old flatware set. It's ready to break, so I started looking on Amazon for more. When I saw reviews saying that spoons were too big, or too small, or had jagged edges, I got worried.I carefully felt all 12 spoons and they were all perfect. The "bowl" part of the spoon is about 1.5" in diameter - the perfect size for me, a small adult. Many of the spoons I looked at were 2", which would be uncomfortable for me. I think the length of the handle is appropriate as well. I had no problems using it or running it in the dishwasher.I doubt the spoons will last long, but that's what you get for the price, and since it comes in a pack of 12, I have awhile before I need to worry about buying more. I recommend this purchase for anyone who's on the verge of a soup spoon emergency, like I was.

As a child I had this spoon and I kept one everyone in my house fought for it I have been searching for this spoon for years and fount it on Amazon this seller was fast and efficient the spoons are just how described thank you we love them and will be ordering more as gifts etc

How, in heavens name, is it possible to buy a SET of silverware & NOT have it include a soup spoon? Color me puzzled & confused when I realized this was the case with the purchase of a silverware set that only came with a dinner knife, regular fork & spoon. Isn't a SET normally considered 5 pieces? Things that make you go "hmmm."Any who: I LOVE this spoon because it is a different shape than most of your normal soup spoons. It's slightly deeper & rounder, which means more soup (or ice cream - YUM) stays in the spoon.Great price for the number of pieces in the set.

This soup spoon is on the small side. It is a total length 6.3 inches long and the spoon is approximately 2" in diameter. It holds 1 1/2 teaspoons of liquid. I have a slightly larger spoon that holds 2 teaspoons of liquid which I like better. The design is okay and weight is well balanced and easy to hold. They are not tinny and are thick enough to hold up to everyday use. They were packaged well and all in good condition. This spoon in the attached picture is the smaller shinier spoon.

These are a bit shallow for soup spoons, but for the price, they'll do.

Go pretty well with my new cutlery set but are a more than a little shorter than I was expecting. Still, great for the price.
