5 LB Bag Raw Spanish Peanuts All Natural Raw Spanish Peanuts Unsalted Unroasted,USA Product, Fresh

Something is definitely wrong, I think they must have already gone bad when they arrived. It's well within the expiration date but it tastes off. For context: I eat a handful of raw peanuts every morning for breakfast, because it's convenient and I don't care about flavor. I have very, very low standards when it comes to taste. So this isn't me being picky. When I say "it tastes off" I mean I'm worried if I keep eating them I'll get sick.

The peanuts came with bad quality. And I did not realize that I could not even return this 5-lb bag of bad peanuts! I feel like I was trapped!

just ordered these peanuts over the weekend, and they were just delivered today (Monday), super fast shipment! that is a great thing especially during the hot summer months.i checked the peanuts before putting them into a different container. i didn't check them one by one, maybe two handful each time, and found some bad molded peanuts. this is the first picture i took for an amazon review. :-0) the picture showed the bad peanuts i took out of the 5 lbs bag. what i like is that it is labeled as organic, what i don't like is having these molded ones mixed with the good ones. it made me wonder about its overall quality. i really enjoy eating peanuts, raw, boiled, roasted or fried. will check into another source and hope to find some with better quality. many blessings to all food!

The first two bags were very good. The third bag was so bad I threw them out for the birds and other critters to eat. The first two bags were smallish peanuts with a very red skin and great taste. The thrird bag were larger peanuts with a pinkish skin that was very difficult to remove even after roasting, they were also tasteless and some of them were strangely wrinked.

Maybe in the past these would come not fresh, but they currently vacuum seal them with an oxygen absorbing packet. Once sprouted these taste amazing. The squirrels outside my house were stoked to receive a sprouted peanut. hahaI will def buy this again.

As a Yogi I meditate 3 to 4 hours daily, My daily breakfast with peanuts porridge. it is very important to consume natural product, I have a device that can detect if the product is Organic or not and this product passed the test, there were two other peanuts Co. selling Organic peanuts but their product failed the test. I hope they continue to sell, these are quality peanuts.

I have tried soaking and dehydrating/roasting these peanuts several times, and their taste is just off. What's more, I often get a stomachache after eating them.After a bit of research, my guess is that they were not dehydrated soon enough after picking. At picking time, peanuts are comprised of 5-8% moisture. If that is not brought way down quickly, it leaves the door open for the naturally-occuring peanut mold aflatoxin to begin growing.It's my guess that too much aflatoxin is what's causing my stomachaches. Nothing that my soaking, drying, or roasting can do about it at this point. :(

For the cost I can't complain, though my brain didn't make the connection that unblanched peanuts wouldn't be crunchy, also they literally taste like peas, like the flavor is spot on, definitely not something to eat plain, but mixed into trail mix or with granola and they would be fine..i may roast them myself
