Diamonds

As one with many books on this subject & above average experience with the stone, I say without reservation, this small work has some of the best photos & illustrations I've ever seen in print. This is especially true with regard to colored Diamond pictures.This is a great book for all with a fondness for the stone of stones.

I purchased the first edition of this book when it came out years ago but this newest edition contains more information which I find is even more useful and informative in my understanding of the diamond market. Beautifully re-worked, it is a book which is complete in it's information yet easy to understand and answer the questions one might have about diamonds and the purchasing of them. My compliments to Mr. Dundek!

The first thing to grab me when I opened this book were the fascinating colour images of diamonds in all their rich variety. I found the book very easy to digest, thanks to the clear and accessible language which steers clear of technical jargon, and hugely informative. I especially enjoyed reading about the history of diamonds and how they were prized by different cultures. Highly recommended.

I liked this book at first sight. A very nice layout. It is printed in good quality and good paper. A very good quality pictures. The book includes many useful information on diamonds. I started understanding diamonds after reading this book.

Well written easy to understand book. Think the history was too brief more like a synopsis of the history of diamonds and a good supplement to my studies.

why is half of it it German?.And half way through a sentence it goes into German again.
