My youngest brother was born 24 years ago, right before Christmas. That year we took a photo with all four kids and my dad around the fireplace on Christmas Eve in our jammies. We recreated that photo in 2019 as a joke. This year, we were unable to see each other or my dad for Christmas due to the coronavirus pandemic. I ordered one of these frames for each of us and got prints of the photos - both the original and the 2019 version. I used five of these frames to hold the photos with the 1996 version on top and the 2019 version on the bottom. The frames are sturdy and held up in shipping. I had to tape the photos to the inside cardboard part to keep them from slipping, but that isn’t a big deal.

I wish the opening was a little closer to a true 4 x 6 because it cuts off a portion of the picture. Keep that in mind if your photo is closely cropped. You’ll need to tape the photos to the mat to keep them in place. The quality of the actual frame is good for the money and is better than what you’d find at Walmart or Target for the same price.

I think it doesn't clash with the other frames I have of family.

I bought several of these frames and used them this way: On the top, I put a photo of me with my 3 siblings from the 1970's. In the bottom I put a photo of me with my 3 siblings from several years ago and gave one to my mother, and one to each sibling and kept one for myself. It just so happened that the order in which we sat a few years ago was the same order we sat in the 1970's. But, I would have probably done this even if we weren't sitting in the same order. Everyone thought it was such a good idea.

Happy with it. Did what I needed it to do
