Originally for exercising, now using it for much more, moving large items, working around the house, driving, and sometimes even when walking or sitting in a chair. It helps my (multiple surgeries) back better than the doctor proscribed $400 stuff. I intend to get some extra ones to keep handy.

It's a 'good make' to start with and good value. Yes, other reviews mention the velcro snagging on the buckle, but to be honest, I don't use the locking catch on the buckle as this belt holds fast anyway. I am very impressed.yes, it will not do the job of my heavy duty lever belt, but I am a competitive powerlifter and this belt was not designed for that.But for general training, support doing DIY and home heavy work, injury support etc, it is a perfect product. Value for money is great. And it does not need breaking in, comfortable from 'day 1'
