The Lost Films Fanzine #3: (B&W/Variant Cover B)

Love that War of the Worlds Article - seriously though . . .
As with all of the Lost Fanzines series - lots of fascinating information of the production of, and changes to, films that were made and films that were never made. Loving the first part of that three-part article by some guy named Stan G. Hyde (er, me) . . . but the whole issue is a lot of fun.

Monsters from beyond the grave of cinema
Maybe I’m biased because I was interviewed in one of the articles, but this magazine as a whole is excellent. As a huge Hammer Horror fan, I loved reading about the history of their Dracula and Mummy endeavors that didn’t quite make it to the screen. Tons of monsters are on display here, from Godzilla to the Blob (who has a surprising history of almost-made Blob features). Even Carnosaur gets an in-depth look beyond what I always assumed was just a Jurassic Park cash-in. Great stuff.

A great fanzine for the adult monster kid
The cover focused on dinosaur movies. But blobs and vampires and werewolves and other classic monsters were well represented in this 100 page opus. I look forward to many happy time reading and revisiting these major and minor epics.

More Lost Films!
Really loving these mags, learning alot too! My favorite story was BatmanmeetsGodzilla. I never would have believed that was once in development. Looking forward to more issues!

Interesting but packed with typos
Decently interesting stuff but many articles are far too long. Worse, it is full of typos that really take away from the content.
