The presentation of this pendant necklace is really nice! This company doesn't just throw a necklace in bubble wrap and cover it in an inch of packing tape. They encase the necklace in a visually appealing silver tin. Justinstones describes the case as an iron gift box, and it probably does protect the pendant as IF it were nestled in an iron box. Honestly, though, the gift box is more of a tin (think of a tin of Altoids and you'll have the right idea.) The peek through view in the tin is not glass, it is plastic. Don't let this deter you, though! The aesthetic of this display tin is absolutely gorgeous. The box arrived in perfect condition. I literally TRIED to find an imperfection, and I couldn't. The tin had not even the slightest dent or scratch. The finish on the tin is filled with minute sparkly silver glitter. It's a knockout look. Although the viewing window is plastic, it seems quite sturdy. `This is not a box I would throw away.But you aren't interested in the encasement! You're looking at that pendant, like I was! The pendant is a genuine looker. If you saw someone else wearing it you're first thought would be, "I wish I had one!" This crystal point is not opal, nor is it moonstone.... But it fakes it beautifully. It looks different depending on the lighting you're in and the color of the clothes that it lays on. At times it looks semi-translucent, and at other moments it leans more to an opaque look. It has a blue cast to it, like moonstone, and in certain lighting, it has a shimmery flash of green or red, much like the flash that an opal is known to possess. It's too soon for me to know how sturdy the setting is, but if the quality and craftsmanship of that is as good as everything else I've seen, than I don't see need to worry about the crystal point falling out of it. Just exercise caution, as you should with all jewelry that you care about and all should go well.The silver chain that the pendant is attached to is substantial. Not sterling silver, but it does catch the eye with it's shine. The links are compact and do not have a "cheap" feel to them. They look well crafted and strong. I always expect the chains to be paper thin and to snap in half at the least little tug. This chain is not flimsy.In all, I would highly recommend this opalite-moonstone glass pendant necklace. At this price, you should go ahead and buy two: one for you, and one to gift to someone who isn't expecting it.

I love this jewelry! My package arrived in a little metal box, great for gift giving, the items were securely packaged and came with 20 inch chains for each pendant! The gems are high quality, a little smaller than expected, but cut very nice. The price is great and I plan on ordering more from this seller! Thank you for the quality of your items!
