Plant Stand 14410 Down Under Plant Caddy, Black, 14-Inch

I bought 4 of these caddies backs in 2021, thinking I would try them first before commenting, then forgot until now (June 2023). This means I have used them 2 full years, this year being the 3rd, so this is true and tested review. These caddies are strong and sturdy. Can support large 20” planters that are really heavy when filled with dirt. The wheels roll very smoothly and the lock on one of the rollers is easy to operate. I use 1 inside the house, 3 for outdoor. At the end of summer, I wash all caddies including the wheels with soap/ water with a sponge, and make sure to clean the underside (where there’s lots of nooks and crannies) where spiders and bugs hide, and I simply let them air dry. There is no sign of rust on any of the hardware, and they all look brand new. There is one comment that says this will only work on smooth surface and not on decks, this is simply not true. I use 2 on my deck, and 1 on my interlock driveway. These are “bumpy” surface and all you have to do is just roll along slowly, yes the wheels may occasionally get caught a little but a little nudge will do the trick, and most of the times once you find the right momentum, they just roll and spin 360 nicely without problems, even on decks. If you push them fast and furious, of course things just go flying, that’s just user error and has nothing to do with the product itself. There is a hole in the center, and the surface is slightly concave, so water drains away regardless of how many drainage holes your planter has, or what position the drainage holes are once placed on the caddie (no blockage). This caddie is built solid. Take good care of them and I am confident they will last for many years. I have zero hesitation to buy more when needs arise.

Me gustó mucho la calidad del material y de las ruedas son de uso rudo; le puse una maceta grande con una planta de más de 50 KG y sin problema soporta el peso y se desliza muy fácilmente con las ruedas. Lo recomiendo ampliamente tanto que voy a comprar nuevamente la base.

I bought this to roll 5 gallon pails of water (50 lbs) from the fish tank to the sink and back. Holds the weight fine, even with my leaning on it a bit while I push. It comes fully assembled. The five legged design makes getting a hand under the half-filled bucket to dump it easy and convenient, and five wheels means it's really hard to tip over. It rolls smoothly over low-pile carpet and flooring - a little too easily as I gave it a little kick and it shot itself down the stairs - which, while I don't recommend knocking it down the stairs, apparently, seems to be something that it can withstand perfectly at least once. The wheels are small and catch on the tiled kitchen floor - I had an unfortunate couple of splashes before adapting with small nudges at the grout lines. Still, it does what I need it to do and does it well. If it holds up over the coming months, I may consider giving it a name.
