I purchased this set mainly for the x-ray machine. I paid $10 prime and overall I think it worth it. My 4 year old gets a kick out of it! The doctor's coat is made out of vinyl shower curtain material. The toys included in the set aren't especially cheap, but they aren't really nice either. We have a nicer coat and tools from other sets, so if that is a swing factor for you, I'd suggest another kit. Nothing in this kit is electronic besides the x-ray machine (or at least in mine--the stethoscope may appear to light up, but mine does not and I haven't taken the screws out to investigate). The x-ray machine was the highlight of the kit. Functioned right out of the box. It makes a fake heartbeat, glows to take an x-ray, and gives a blood pressure of green, yellow, or red. The x-ray slides (4 or 5 are included) are a little difficult to slide in and out, so either my daughter only has it half secured or asks me for help. I gave this with a Bernstein bears book about going to the doctor to encourage my daughter's interests. In the $10-12 price range, this set is absolutely worth it in my opinion.

My daughter loves this entire set. She already has a couple of doctor sets, as it's one of her favorite things to play. I purchased this item for her basically just for the xray machine. She's fascinated by it and loves that she can switch the "xrays" for different parts of the body. It has really helped lead her into another level of pretending.

My son (4yo) absolutely loves this, we've had hours of fun playing with the set - the sounds and lights of the 'machine' make it realistic for a small child, so that they can 'diagnose ' you for real :-) Would recommend

Delivery was timely, and my grandson loves it! This kit is of high quality and the light up x-ray machine is genius; it's not your ordinary kid's medical kit!

This is a great set if you are looking for a dramatic play x-ray set. The x-ray machine looks really cool! I was disappointed at the quality of the rest of the set, so I'm going to return it for a different set that has more "medical tools" or a higher quality doctor's coat instead of the x-ray machine.

Happy with speed of delivery and product. At first, I thought there was no lab coat in the package since the coat is behind the cardboard package. All you see is the equipment. I didn't want to open it so as I tried to stick my hand in the back slot, I felt the coat package. In summary, maybe package so people know the lab coat is in it. :-)

This is exactly what i was looking for and the price is just what the doctor ordered! We have a (starter) doctor kit already so i wasn't looking to add too many additional pieces as many other sets have. But the xray machine was a must! And the doctor coat too! Total win. Again, saw a combo like that with too many pieces I don't want to have to account for. He's going to be so excited opening this for christmas!

I ordered this for my daughters birthday. It was a great set but there was a hole in the doctor coat. I contacted the company and they shipped out a new one the next day. For the price this has been an awesome gift for our daughter who plays doctor
