Keeps hair from falling on to clothes; thin, flimsy, see-through
These 100 disposable barber capes are neatly folded in one package (each cape is placed on top of one another, then all 100 are folded lengthwise in half, then folded multiple times so that the final product fits inside a rectangular-shaped plastic bag).To get 1 cape, I unfold the entire 100 capes, get one cape, and fold the rest of the capes back in their original form.I did not smell any odors as I sniffed the capes. These capes are thin, flimsy, and see-through.note: the product description page says these capes ".....are made of high-quality material...."; but, does not say what the material is.When I put a cape on a family member, and tied the straps around the neck, I make sure to not tie both straps too tightly, because they broke away one time when I tugged them too tightly.note: if the straps break, I use clothespins to tie the cape around a family member's shoulders/neck before cutting hair.Overall, these capes are great to use to keep hair from falling on to our clothes while we cut hair.

Holy Caped Crusader!
Wow, the quantity is 100! Although we’ll never go through that many, these are indeed useful and no more having to shake out the cloth cape all over the lawn. Along with toilet paper and hand sanitizer, hair accessories have become perhaps the rarest commodities of the Covid era. No that we are finally coming out of it, my son, previously a guy with close cropped jock hair and presently lookin’ like a poetically suave hippy, still actually asks the old man (me) for haircuts. Although we happily emerging from Covid hibernation, we’re likin’ our look and appreciating having these. They are not thick but get the job done in workmanlike fashion. If I could only wish for one thing it would be a smaller quantity at a reduced price.

A huge lot of disposable salon capes that are perfect for the DIY haircutting crowd …
For quite some time we’ve been going the DIY route in the haircutting department. We’ve been using towels around our shoulders as we didn’t have a cape. These capes are a very lightweight plastic, but are perfect for what we need. Admittedly, there are more than we can use, but will hand some along. They are large, tie well, and protect our clothing. These capes can be used for several different purposes and the large size ensures everyone can use them. They come in a large package and each cape can be removed easily. They can be used in a salon, but are perfect for home use. The price is more than equitable at under twenty dollars for what you’re getting.

Lots Of Capes!
With 100 capes in a non professional household, these will last a while! There have been a couple of them that didn't seem to be cut properly but with so many on hand we just threw them away and grabbed a new one. Great for cutting hair, or I use them when I am doing make-up too (if I can't find where I left my more permanent one - which is quite often lol). You can also use them as sheets on the floor around where you are working - if you are likely to drop stuff - which I do - a lot!
