Marantec 3-Button Garage Door Opener Keychain Size Remote Transmitter (315 MHz) M3-3313

I bought two of these M3-3313 mini-remotes to control my Marantec 4500e. Both of them work just fine.The 3313 is small and works better than the bigger, clunkier dual-purpose M3-2312 remotes that came with my opener. The 2312 comes with a removable clip for use with a sun visor, but even without the clip it's too bulky to carry comfortably in my pocket. Plus, both 2312s I have require multiple button presses before they will transmit a signal. I don't know if that's a flaw or a feature.The 3313, conversely, is quite small, doesn't bulk up my keychain, and isn't annoying to carry in my pocket. All the buttons work flawlessly with only one light press. And it seems to have greater range than the 2312. The 3313 comes with the little gizmo to transfer the code from your old remote -- a process that is very easy to do and only requires a few seconds.I like the M3-3313 so much I may buy a couple more to keep on hand as spares.

If you park your car outside, getting a keychain remote is definitely safer than leaving a visor remote in your car whether intentional or accidental, so this is a great idea.I confirm that this works on my discontinued Harrison HD Garage Door opener that is still supported by this company unofficially. I would have had to buy another garage door opener otherwise, so I give my thanks to Marantec.The only thing that I did not like is that the transfer tool doesn't work well. I had to keep repositioning the pins until I found the sweet spot. I almost gave up until I discovered the exact position and then I was able to program all buttons.

I had a very large remote and I wanted a smaller one so I can keep on my keychain and not in the car for security purposes. This does the trick. Programming the garage opener system was easy. This remote has quite a range, at least 30' if not more.

Worked as advertised.I like the small remotes, because I can fit them into my pants pocket. I think it is a really bad idea to leave your remote in your car. If they break into your car, they can easily get into your garage. Once they are in your garage, they can easily get into your house. I've seen it happen.Unfortunately, the Marantec garage door opener kept failing, and I finally had to replace the whole thing with a Chamberlain (which works great).

I like the small size to carry in my pocket on my car key clasp. And it was a snap to set the code using the clasp to interconnect the two devices.

I have the whole Marantec setup on my Martin garage door opener. The signal converter, new remotes, whole shebang. Martin wanted $80 for a new retrofit kit because they don't make the remotes anymore.This one is slightly smaller than the oval one but works just the same. Programs the same way as the others, with the three prong pin. You will need the signal converter to use this remote IF you have an older opener that does not output 315 MHz. Any of the older Martin openers will need the signal converter, but once you have it you can pick up one of these cheap remotes and they work great.

Nice compact keychain remote for your Marantec Garage Door. Very easy to program.
