Fun Exploration of Nighttime Animals!
My niece enjoyed flipping through the animal photos and fun facts before diving into the book. The amazing photos--specifically the bat and pangolin pictures--were really unusual and brought their animal features to life while making the book visually interesting. The other neat thing about the book is that The Nocturnals characters (Dawn the fox, Bismark the sugar glider and Tobin the Pangolin) explored the nighttime animals in each chapter and often compared themselves to the animal that was being discussed. This aspect of the book was very engaging and definitely helped keep my niece's attention. It is the perfect addition to our animal book collection.

Great read!!!!
Parents of animal-loving young readers in search of a fun read should look no further- the latest Nocturnals book delivers!! I love how this book could work as an introduction to the Nocturnals fiction books OR on its own. The quirky animals from the series make for great non-fiction and offer kids animals and animal facts they haven’t already read a bunch of times. Get this book!!

Great for reluctant readers who like animals
Very cute book! My baby cousin doesn’t love to read, but he does love animals, and this book was perfect for him. There are tons of cool animal photos, and the fun facts kept him interested and engaged. There were a lot of fun facts that I had never heard before, which was a nice surprise for me as well.

Great for incorporating nonfiction into story time!
There are lots of interesting facts about the animals, and there are color photographs on every page. Would recommend for anyone who has kids that are interested in animals!
