They go through the fabric with no problem the only thing is they don’t close into its self they make a point at close and so it is possible for them to come a loose and annoy you…

Beautiful, but low quality
They good only on non moving atoms or parts of application. I decorated my purse strings and it came off, because the metals clasps are to soft and from simple wearing it on my shoulders ir starting to fall off.Sad. And pretty much useless.
