Photo added for size. The splat mat was what I expected in size and quality. Colors are bright and look just like the picture. It has held up great for us; however, we haven't gotten it super messy, so I cannot attest to how it holds up for big messes.For this pattern, I didn't realize there were little fairies in addition to to the flowers, so make sure to look closely if you are particular with pattern.

We love this. Our dinning room has carpet and it has saved our carpets. We also take it away with us to make clean up easier under the high chair. We also use it as a play matt outside. Washes really well. I’ve got berry stains out of it without much trouble.

It’s wonderful. I bought this for my two year old daughter and our light apartment carpet that stains with even water! I place this under her high chair or under her easel so she doesn’t stain the carpet. This is lightweight and easy to move from place to place. It wipes off much better than carpeting. I think it’s perfect and even necessary for a house with a baby/toddler/kid. It’s also large compared to similar mats.
