when I ordered my first garlic press I was so delighted with it, I told EVERYONE about it and highly recommended they buy one. I even bought some for my daughters/daughters-in-law & some friends. After a year or so using it I noticed that the blades broke/bent but my husband was able to put the blades back together. That only lasted so long and the blades finally broke. SOOO, I went back online & re-ordered 3 more of the same press. I sent one more to one of my daughters to try. I have been SO DISAPPOINTED in this garlic press now - the blades keep bending even after I cut the garlic in half & smaller pieces, the blade still bends & just as irritating is that the lid doesn't push/release the garlic into the cup, I have to use a tooth pic to push the garlic in the cup. How annoying is all of this when you are cooking and have to spend extra time just mincing/slicing garlic??? Is there another garlic press that doesn't do this other than the original/old fashioned press with the handle??? I'm open to suggestions. An update: I recently sent one to my other daughter and the first time she used it the blades actually BROKE and also broke the little grid that comes off the lid!! WHAT'S UP WITH THIS???!! DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANOTHER GARLIC PRESS ON THIS SAME CONCEPT THAT ACTUALLY WORKS? I'm willing to pay more for a quality one - HELP PLEASE!

It is endowed with a tank that retrieved the chips these really very convenient. It makes two different cuts, one slice and the other that makes pieces, simply by turning the container. There are two racks and a garlic peeler. Actually really like this thing. BUT a few things:1) CLEAN IT WITH TOOLS: No that easy to clean, but using the “cleaning tool” is def helpful - use it2) ONE CLOVE ONLY: Don’t try to do more than one clove at a time - it can’t handle more, very large cloves should be cut first.3) KEEP ALIGNED: Close it with NOTHING in it to be sure it is closing COMPLETELY - if not, blades need to be aligned or you have debris, look carefully.If you don’t do the above YOU WILL BREAK IT!.I have to send them one back, because it broke BUT I’m ordering another one know that I’ve had some practice with it. It is not perfect, but best thing so far for Gallic I’ve tried in 30 years.

I love this little chopper. They call it a slicer and dicer but I've never used the slicing insert. It is however so fast and easy and the dice falls cleanly into the little tray. I do wish it was actually a garlic PRESS. With dicing you end up with tiny squares and that doesn't squeeze the juice out like pressing. But I use a few more cloves and get better flavor. Not really self cleaning, though, I end up having to use a little brush to get all the tiny pieces out of the teeth and the grill.

Garlic slices very easily. The catch basin does not catch all the garlic. The built in cleaning tool does not come off easy enough. I recommend OXO brand

I really like this as a garlic press. If you don't mind peeing the garlic first, you might even rate it as a 5 star. However, I've had garlic presses that don't need prior peeling and this one is difficult to clean as the garlic tends to get stuck in the plastic top. All in all, it works but as Dwight from the office might say :"Good Not Great"

I absolutely love this! My only problem is it can be a little hard to clean. The garlic sticks to it and even with hot water and high pressure it didn't want to come off but overall I would definitely recommend this item.

This is probably the best garlic press I've seen to date, the only reason for the three star rating is mine came with two slicing inserts and no dicing insert at all. As the product was then listed as out of stock an exchange seemed unlikely so I'm keeping it, but I am a bit disappointed that I won't be able to use it for it's primary use of mincing garlic.

I had a similar Garlic chopper to this, which gave up the ghost after 4 years of hard use. This lasted less than 4 weeks, with the metal blades distorting on the dicing side, and falling apart on the slicing side, with one of the blades falling into the container. Absolutely useless, and will be looking for a refund.

Love, love ,love a great little gadget for the kitchen. No more smelly hands and can keep the garlic/ginger fresh in the fridge, if you over do (as I do often) so no waste. Cleans easy too.

Great product, sturdy the way it’s made, used it twice and now it doesn’t click close in place, the one side is always left flapping because it’s lost the ‘click’ to close 😔very very disappointing

What can you say about a garlic press? I live that it’s two in one and you can store it afterwards

First use and cutting blades (a few) bent and then unusable until I straightened them a bit. Maybe I have a badly manufactured one. Dont know how to get it replaced
