We have two buying options for the lamp and you have to choose one of them as the electrical system is different for each: If you want to use it as a table/desk lamp we provide you a varnished circular wooden base(368 gr) and 6' (182 cm) white lamp cord with switch (Atron) and a keyless medium base socket (Leviton) installed on the base. (supplied from Home Depot) If you want to use it as a pendant lamp we provide you 6' (182 cm) white lamp cord with switch (Atron) and a keyless medium base socket (Leviton) (supplied from Home Depot) cord set installed in the gourd lamp. Sorry, no bulb is included. We recommend using LED bulbs both for efficiency and sustainability, and to protect the lamp from heat damage. This is a decorative lamp rather than a reading lamp.
