Worked like a charm
Knew it had to be gas cap when light came on. Cap got here quick and simple to install. Quite happy light has gone out.

2013 Hyundai Accent GLS
2013 Hyundai Accent GLS, perfect fit and most importantly the check engine light went off.Went to MVD emissions testing with no check engine light. The tester insisted my fuel cap was defective. The tester took my working cap and replaced it with a new cap "free of charge." Two days later my check engine light came on.This cap fixed the issue. It was not immediate, it took approximately two days and 80 miles for the cap to clear the light.Yes, I could clear the code with my engine scanner. It's more satisfying to see that the new cap clears it up. I suspect the cap at half the price with two day delivery will work the same though I didn't want to wait another day so I paid twice as much.

It really is an oem gas cap.
But one before that stated it was oem and it failed within a month or two. In the future I'll just replace the gasket. Didn't know you could do that.

Direct Factory Replacement 2017 Kia Sportage
This fuel filler cap is a direct factory replacement for a 2017 Kia Sportage and ended my occasional check engine light caused by a slow evap leak. I found the gasket on this cap to be a bit softer and thicker than the original cap and I think that contributed to better sealing when the cap was closed. The markings on the cap itself are slightly different (my original cap had English writing on it where this cap is only pictures/icons) but that doesn’t impact the performance. I would certainly buy this again and at the price should be your first step when encountering a slow evap leak OBDII code.

Not OEM but solved my vapor lock problem anyway
Billed as OEM and cost double what all the clones on Amazon and eBay cost. NOT OEM.I kept it though, because it DID solve my Check Engine light problem. Let’s hope it lasts.
