100% Pure Love
I have a lot of love for this brand. 100% Pure was one of the pioneers of mass-marketed clean beauty. I stumbled across it in 2005 after I had a miscarriage and was diagnosed with endometriosis. In 2015 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and 100% Pure, among a very small handful of clean cosmetics brands remains a name I can trust. Things change quickly, with greenwashing and companies cutting corners for cheap ingredients that pose more health risk, especially with regard to xenoestrogenic ingredients that increase the risk of female cancers and conditions. I always check my labels from any company because formulas change over time too, but am always relieved every time I read a 100% Pure label. But enough on this brand's integrity. Onto the product itself. This hydrating oil is so lightweight and feels like a sheer veil on the skin, It's gorgeously rose scented with natural essential oils and constituents. Pure rose oil, which is a ingredient in this milk, is also purported to have benefits for the skin and includes a spectrum of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and astringent and anti-inflammatory properties. The overall scent is refreshing like dewy petals, not heavy or artificially perfumy. Initially, you may think it might compete with your favorite perfume, but I love the delicate ephemeral nature of natural scent -- it lingers just long enough to make you feel good and doesn't weigh heavily in the air for too long.It does contain sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), perhaps to balance pH, or to neutralize bacteria in the skin. The ingredient list includes sodium hyaluronate which is the salt form of hyaluronic acid and has a smaller molecular structure, thus being better absorbed by the skin. True hyaluronic acid cannot be plant based. This, squalane, and glycerin are usually animal-sourced, however, 100% Pure claims on its website that it opts for vegan alternatives. Sweet potatoes in the case of their sodium hyaluronate. This arrives in a box, with the product in a glass bottle with a pump which makes for convenient and hygienic application.I had indeed been searching recently for a lightweight facial moisturizer to either wear on its own or underneath makeup. If this continues to feel as good and hydrating as it does over the coming weeks, this could well become my HG daytime moisturizer.***Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice*, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Rosa Damascena Distillate (Rose Hydrosol)*, Aqua (Water), Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower Oil, Squalane, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda), Xanthan Gum, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium PCA, Lauryl Glucoside, Myristyl Glucoside, Polyglyceryl-6 Laurate, Beta-Glucan, Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Citronellol**, Eugenol**, Geraniol** *Organic Ingredient **Component of Natural Essential Oil

Fragrance is not rose, but it has a lovely feel and appeal
I buy a lot of rose-fragranced products. This has an acceptable fragrance, but I would not call it rose-fragranced. I see that they call it 100% rose water, but there is a huge amount of wiggle room in that claim. So, my advice: Don't buy this for its rose fragrance......They are stretching it, calling it rose.It is a very lightweight product. Lighter than a lotion. Applying it is a very pleasant feeling, and I totally enjoy the sensation. It is not greasy and soaks in almost immediately. It is not what I need for wintertime, though. And my skin is not especially dry--just average. This might work well for me in the Spring. I don't think I've tried a "milk" before, so this is an eye-opener for me. I will try another "milk" product if given the chance.

Works good as a serum
I use this product as a serum instead of a moisturizer. It is hydrating but not as much as I need it to be inorder to be a moisturizer.

Nourishing nontoxic lotion!
100% PURE Rose Water Hydrating Milk.I like that it’s nontoxic, natural, vegan, gluten free!I heard of the brand but hadn’t tried it. I read up on this brand. It’s history and mission is interesting and admirable. Part of it’s mission is to produce the “purest, healthiest products”.I’m glad I tried out this facial milk! It’s nice! It feels nice on my dry sensitive skin, it’s gentle, it hydrates and moisturizes my skin, It’s lightweight but surprisingly very nourishing. It feels like a milky lotion and has a very light pleasant scent.INGREDIENTS: Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice* Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Rosa Damascena Distillate (Rose Hydrosol)*, Aqua (Water), Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower Oil, Squalane, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda), Xanthan Gum, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium PCA. Lightweight liquid moisturizer
This is a lightweight liquid moisturizer that is made with rose hydrosol and hyaluronic acid to replenish dry, thirsty skin while calming redness and irritation. This product is lighter than a lotion and does absorb readily. It doesn't have much of a rose scent which was rather surprising given the name. The name of the company is 100% Pure, so don't be fooled into thinking this is 100% rose water. I'm sure their name was designed as a marketing gimmick for this very reason.I'd guess that the HA content hydrates or plumps skin and that accounts for the moisturizing properties. It works well on dry, winter skin. I had no adverse effects.

nice but not fantastic
I like this brand ... have used their makeup before many times in the past. I had high hopes for their skincare line and was excited to see it on Amazon. This "milk" is a nice formula and includes hyaluronic acid, which is an ingredient I love. Although this product softens the skin a little, there are other "clean beauty" products that soften more and leave my skin feeling more amazing. For instance: The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid which is a good value and also a "clean beauty" product. Youth to the People Superfood Air-Whip Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid is also a really nice one, albeit spendier, but I have loved it for a long time. While this product has great ingredients and the premise is good, it is not enough to make me ditch my current regimen. For reference, my skin is pushing 50 and on the normal to dry side.
