The Needly Cicachid Soothing Ampoule is a clear serum that is provided in a one-ounce dropper-dispenser bottle. It contains a number of botanical extracts as well as three varieties of Hyaluronic Acid, which is perhaps the best moisturizer. The Hyaluronate can hold onto one-thousand times its weight in moisture and then carry the moisture into the skin. I found that the serum felt cool on my skin. It was readily absorbed bringing a nice moisturization with it.

The NEEDLY Cicachid Soothing Ampoule is a nice supplement for those seeking additional moisture, but it isn’t a necessity. Ampoules are meant to be a stronger version of a serum. This one targets those who experience extra irritation like inflammation or skin sensitivity.After use for several weeks after cleaning the skin, and being applied under moisturizer, it helped slightly with hydration, but made no dramatic difference to irritation and acne. I don't think this product is potent enough to completely eliminate that, and a similar result could be reached by incorporating a better moisturizer in your skincare regimen.Most of the ingredients on the list appear to be moisturizers or skin conditioners (glycerine, betaine, pentylene glycol, Centella Asiatica extract, Allantoin, etc.). These skin conditioners should keep the skin hydrated without irritating it more, but I’m not sure if simply moisturizing the skin would be enough to be considered soothing.The ampoule has a light viscosity, similar to most ampoules and serums. It blends quite easily into oily skin and I imagine it would be the same for most skin types. It feels very lightweight on the face and could easily be layered under makeup during the day without disturbing your base makeup.There is no added fragrance, but the plant extracts do make the product smell faintly herbal. Those with sensitivity to fragrances should have an easier time with this. The smell does not transfer readily to sheets at night.While this product does help a bit with dry skin which is normally associated with irritation, it isn't really deserving to be called an ampoule due to the apparent strength. For the price, I would recommend a nice moisturizer instead of purchasing this ampoule.

I was having really bad dry skin on and under my chin. I have been using this along with an electric facial brush cleaner and then applying this after I’ve cleaned my face. I have had a major change in my dry skin. Using both it has improved about 80%. I would purchase this again.

This soothing ampoule isn’t anything particularly special. The formula is quite watery and wet on the face. It does moisturize in the moment, but I feel like it doesn’t penetrate deep into the skin or last very long. Also, my skin wasn’t very balanced with this stuff. I have acne-prone/oily/sensitive/reactive skin for reference. This product was giving me little whiteheads randomly around my face. In places that I normally don’t get acne, so I know it was for sure this formula causing the breakouts. This one just isn’t for me. No real benefits that make it worth continuing with this product.
