Great book

pleasant reading, but there are several omissions and rare inaccuracies... it says "right gears 1st up" was produced till 1978... well exists some indian bullets of this kind produced in the '90...

If you've got a Royal Enfield, any Enfield, you'll want this large lovely coffee table book sized trade paperback. As a former historical researcher myself I am hugely impressed by both the research and writing. Its photographic resources alone are stunning--not just the same stale old grainy shots of Johnny Brittain picking his way up a trials track like you see in pretty much every other book or website on the History of Royal Enfield. There's also lots of insight into the history of the Royal Enfield marque in India, where most folks' bikes nowadays hailed from. It truly is a stunningly great read for fans of the brand.

Good book, if u have an Enfield well worth a purchase.Good interesting read for the biker/enfield enthusiast.
