The tiles in our original set had painted numbers which were wearing off, so we ordered these to replace them. We are very pleased with them. They are the same size as the original and the numbers are embossed with very bright colors so it is easy to tell one color from the other, plus because they are embossed, the numbers will not wear off.Remember, this only contains the tiles. We already had the carrying case and the tile holders from our original set.

Not cheap plastic. These tiles are like we has 35 years ago.

These are heavy, sturdy, engraved tile that won't wear away easily. They are much more fun to play with than the thin, lightweight, painted-on tiles.i was surprised that ONLY the tile were included, but I already had the instructions and holders; so didn't really need new ones.
