The PERFECT blend of INTENSE loving friendship and adoring Romance!!
One of the things why I crush on every word V Theia writes is she gives amazing heroines. They're never wooden and 1 dimensional. She puts as much effort into the females as her gorgeous alpha males, flaws and all. I loathe perfection, it's unrealistic even in fiction, but what Sena brought was a female who admitted she overthinks and allowed others to influence her emotions, but when her turning point came she was able to admit she'd been wrong. Besides being human, and relatable, what I've adored about this heroine the most is her funny bone. "Madder than a wet hen" had me laughing louder than I should have.Noah Fierro is a dream!! Oh god, he was everything I needed him to be in the second part of the Taboo Love duet. He never wavered in how he felt or what he wanted to build with Sena and though he was up against it not only from his kitten's doubts but from his family as well and he never once did that alphahole thing book heroes do and eff up somehow!Though there was some twists and turns to cause me to have heart failure and my eyeballs to leak, it was also a comfortable read in that I didn't worry one or both of the couple would fall out of love. This was a story based on soulmates and the cutest friendship I've ever seen. They truly do love, like and care for one another.Really character driven and as I say in most of my reviews that is my catnip! I love a good story, which this is, but when it focuses on developing the feels between the H/h with not much interference from the outside cast, then I am in love. And when it's like a hero as Noah Fierro *howls at the moon* oh that man has my heart, my soul and my underpants in his queer hands. The things he says melted me into goop. How he loved and cared for his best friend was just gorgeous.Fave quote: “Sena, I would do anything to keep you. To make you mine. Christ, I want you to be mine more than I’ve ever wanted anything before, and I'm tying myself in knots to convince you of that. Everything else I would drop and not care, but I won’t lose you. Those aren’t just words. When I say you’re my everything, my whole heart, I mean it. I’ll be a dusty pile of misery if you won’t have me, Sena.”Now I'm in starvation mode because I truly adored this duet and it's one of those times I want it to be a long running series. The Fierro kids, yes!Gray Ellison, Yes!(even you, Tom!, you foot rubbing BLEEP )

Lots and lots of grammatical error - really poor editing
My notes as I was reading this book…1) Sena - Frustrating. Says she loves Noah but everything she does doesn’t scream love. She doesn’t say it when she feels it, and she’s constantly running. Away. From. Him. Instead of talking it out. Pregnancy hormones are not an excuse for acting like a dumb idiot. Especially when she leaves him to worry about her.2) Too much angst. Too many moments where she supposedly has an epiphany - “I see it all” then nope she goes back into her head and runs. Then “I know he’s my everything” then runs again. There’s emotional angst and then there’s too much. This is excessive. Only 70% of the way in does she actually grow the hell up and actually stick up for him.3) Annoying erroneous use of commas and capital letters. Sentences that are disjointed, missing words or using the wrong words. Were these books edited - at all??Look these books were hot, hot, hot. Noah is the bees knees and I love him. But he was always the strength, and Sena always, always doubted him. It got frustrating in the end, especially after hearing how much she supposedly loves him. Blardee well fight for it love. Action, not talk. The smoking hot scenes bumped this up from 3 to 4 stars but these stories fell short of perfection.

Love is love. It knows no boundaries, it has no doubts. Only people have both.
4,5 starsAfter finishing ‘It was love’ (the first book of this duet) I immediately bought this (the second) book. Because I couldn’t wait to read more of Sena and Noah’s story!! Just like in the first book it took me a bit to get into the story (the beginning started a bit slow). But once Noah was ‘back’ into the story, the story captured my attention and I couldn’t put it down until the end.If you thought that the sex scenes in the first book were hot and steamy than be prepared because the sex level in this story is over the top!! They had a lot of sex, so much so that even I thought at one point in the book, maybe you need to talk to each other this one time haha But it certainly didn’t bother me in the whole. Because Noah is just that hot, that you can’t blame Sena that she can’t resist him.One of the things that I LOVED about this story is Noah’s strong belief that Sena is the ONE for him. No matter the fact that he sees himself as a ‘gay’ guy and Sena is a woman. No matter, the not so nice reactions of other people when they find out that Noah is suddenly in a relationship with a woman. No matter what, he just follows his heart and his feelings for Sena. This story really shows that love can’t be put in a box and that it has no boundaries , love is love, it can come in any form or shape. The writer V. Theia really gave us a beautiful message in this duet series. After reading and enjoying these two books, I will certainly read more books of this writer.

Get the wine ready, you will need it...
My heart was in my mouth from the first words, no, scratch that my heart hadn't removed itself from my mouth since the end of book one! I called the author every name under the sun for the things she put Noah and Sena through, but oh my was it worth every ounce of wine I guzzled just to get me through the first five chapters. Then I added chocolate to the mix and my anxious heart began to cope with the emotional rollercoaster that is this sweet, sexy couple and their journey to each other. A delicious read. And that epilogue...

4.75 stars for the beautiful love story of Noah and Sena
As soon as I finished book one, I needed to start book two. The cliffhanger had me one-clicking faster than I could blink. The title of this book is the perfect embodiment of Noah and Sena.At the end of book one, Sena goes to Noah’s club to tell him the good news, that she’s pregnant, and then she sees that he is getting very chummy with his ex, Tom, so she retreats and runs away, thinking that he’s trying to get back with him. For two weeks, she evades him, hiding at her friend’s place and then eventually cloisters herself in one of Noah’s houses, one he doesn’t frequent much. Because they have access to each other’s everything, she goes in like nothing. But, Noah gets notified that she’s there and he immediately goes to her.Sena’s completely surprised, so surprised, that she grabs a lamp and is ready to hurl it at the intruder, not knowing it was Noah. But as soon as he makes his presence known, oh Em Gee. The tension, the sizzling heat, the eye-contact, even the air in the room gets thicker. For either of them to try to deny that they have a soul-deep connection would be laughable because the second they are both in the same room, everything is just explosive between them, and this is exactly what happens when they first see each other after the two weeks that she hid herself from him. I have to admit, I was applauding Noah for being his alpha self and punishing her with his delicious kisses and touches. Wow it was 🥵🔥🥵🔥😅😅.And the rest of the book is them finding a way to be together without necessarily putting labels on their love. Noah made it very clear that he wasn’t not queer anymore, because the only person for him, the only woman for him, will always be Sena. The patience and love that Noah has for Sena is unfathomable, bottomless, endless and so pure that I found myself highlighting like crazy! She’s insecure and questions their future and he’s so good to her that he reassures her that what they have is real, that what he feels for her is real, and it’s not going away. There are bumps in their love, like any love story, and lots of things/people that question them, but, at the end of the day, they are destined to be together; it doesn’t matter what sexuality they identify as, love is love, and they have always loved each other. Their physical connection was raw, passionate, visceral, sexy and undeniable 😂🔥😅. But that doesn’t compare to the emotional connection.I absolutely loved this duet!!! I saw grammar mistakes that I didn’t notice in the first book, but they didn’t take away from the love story that the title beautifully embodies.Highly recommended. ❤️🔥

Even better than the first book!
The second part in the Taboo Love Duet was even better than the first. The plot was much better explored, not only their relationship.I loved all the conflicts, surprises and twists of this book, and in the end I didn’t want it to be over.It was really nice to see Noah and Sena’s relationship getting stronger, how they chose to put their relationship before anything and anyone else. It was clear for me how important it was that they were previously best friends, otherwise I think their story would have been muuuch different. That epilogue was a delicious surprise, and everything I wanted to see. Loved it!!Can’t wait to read more from this author!

Perfect Conclusion.
The beginning chapters were a bit too in Senas head. I wanted more dialogue between her and Noah. I loved their relationship. I loved the epilogue. I loved so many things about this book. I didn't give it a full 5 stars because of too much rambling in certain parts (mostly the beginning). I'd love to see a novella about these two again. Maybe a holiday one with the kids. I'm glad I stumbled across this duet.
