Enjoyable but not quite worth all the raving
It was enjoyable but his writing style felt quite basic. I think there are a few fans with tinted glasses on when they're reading this.

Absolutely amazing
Wow. I did not know what to expect when I got this book. I read this book in 2 days, the minute I started I couldn't stop and upon completion I was so deep in though that I didn't speak for the rest of the day. I was impressed by how easily the storyline flowed and how you gradually get invested in each character. There are actually real unpredictable twists in the book that you only can work out within the chapter that they happen-this keeps you hooked on the story as you don't know whats coming. It felt like inception mixed with shutter island mixed with the life of Bobby. The writing style is unique. I can almost hear the voice of and experiences of Bobby Hall flowing out of his fingers into the typewritter and onto the page. It makes the story more real and give Flynn a true voice.I really enjoyed it and I can't wait to see where Bobby takes this next- a film? More books? Either way I'll be very excited now that he has produced such a brilliant piece of art.

Incredibly Well Written Novel
My first and likely own ever review. This book is simply outstanding. Having loved Bobby's music for years I was concerned about how well his abilities would transfer to a book. Fortunately, I was not let down.Supermarket provides an incredibly well-crafted protagonist within a compact but well-presented world. It might not be the longest book in the world but I read it over the course of a day and struggled to attend duties meaning I had to put it down. The twist is superb but this doesn't ruin the ability to revisit this book and its story again, which is really a testament to the quality of the story Bobby has crafted. If you are a fan of his I think understanding the book with its acknowledgements will make a second reading even more interesting than the first. An amazing debut, I look forward to seeing more!PLP, RATTPACK ALL DAY.

Badly Written, very obvious plot
I would not recommend this book. The plot description I thought sounded good but the writing style is awful, very informal and a bit pretentious. The author basically wrote about himself, even going so far as to describe the cover of Supermarket within the novel and how cool it is, which I think was the last straw for me. Also the plot was incredibly obvious and I realised exactly how it would end within the first few pages.

Highly recommend
I wasnt sure what to expect with this book im a huge fan of Logic so i wanted to give it a try. I was not disappointed. I cant recommend this enough it was full of real human emotions and fragility and insecurity that the main character felt so real and his experiences felt so real. Theres also a little humour in the character as well. And the plot twist, did not see that coming. I hope he writes more.
