I very rarely ever write reviews but this time I am compelled to do so. This is such a fantastic book for a beginner. I have little knowledge about Indian spiritual and belief systems and this book serves as an excellent guide for any one who wishes to explore the philosophical aspects and debates behind the "Shat Darshanas" ( the 6 limbs / visions) of Indian spiritual thinking. Very well written in plain language and is a very easy read.I very strongly recommend it to anybody who has even the slightest inclination to know about the Indian philosophical systems. This is the first book to go to.
