LOL yes it does include the LP4 modem. It is carrier agnostic and will load up Verizon or AT&T once you insert the SIM.

Q: Is it better than the mofi ?

We think so, the specifications are stronger, and Cradlepoint is the leader in this product type.

Q: Live in a valley, very poor reception. installing 2 yagi antena going to keep a short cable run. would i be better off with a cell booster instead?

I would start with the yagi's, separate them about 6 feet if you can. Also look at the one of the products with an LP6 modem, the LP4 can access only 5 radio frequencies, while the LP6 will access 18 frequencies. Q: Will this work with project FI from google?

I think so. I don't think there will be any issue using this with on of the Project Fi data-only SIMs which you can order from them. I have not tried with this, but many other devices work without issue.
