Excellent warm weather wrap, gorgeous print
As a new member of the 2 under 2 club, I do not have hours to rock my 2 month old to sleep during the day. As she will only last about 15 minutes in her rocker, the majority of our days are spent in very close proximity by way of a variety of baby wearing devices. This was fine in March and April, prior to late spring heat waves arriving in New England.I started my search for a summer carrier and the solly was frequently recommended in my search. I bit the bullet and ordered it during a stretch of 90 degree days. It is a bit pricey, but anyone saying that it’s overpriced for 5+ yards of fabric has obviously never gone to a fabric store to purchase 5 yards of good quality fabric.Temperature wise it does keep me and my daughter much cooler than my boba or ergo. The fabric is quite soft, the floral print is positively lovely and it is much more lightweight than other wraps. This has some pros and cons. I’m kept much cooler, but it has been taking me a bit to figure out exactly how tight to wrap it. I’m about a size 14 and have plenty of extra fabric. However, I find it nearly impossible to keep the fabric flat on my back which is not an issue with my thicker wrap. The shoulders and back cross stay flat but the rest kind of bunches into a rope on my lower back which gets a bit uncomfortable after a couple hours. The fabric is stretchy but not in the traditional way of a cotton/spandex wrap. It’s very lightweight and strong but does have quite a bit of give to it. Because of this, I’ve been having to play around with how tight I start off the wrap and have to readjust during the day.Overall, it fits my needs well by definitely being one of the “coolest” options available for baby wearing in the summer. If it wasn’t getting so gosh darn hot out I’d probably be sticking with my boba. If you don’t want to sweat like a pig all summer and your little one refuses to be put down, spare yourself the overheating and get this.Update: as my daughter got around the 15 lb mark, she started to not like this wrap as much. It doesn’t offer nearly the support as a thicker wrap so it’s kind of been retired until a new baby comes along. Definitely can’t imagine wearing her with this at 20+ lbs even though it’s rated for more.

Overpriced piece of fabric
With a baby on the way, my wife and I purchased this to make sure we have a wrap on board. While it is a super nice looking wrap, it is nothing more than an approximate 8 foot length literal piece of fabric about a foot or so wide. The texture is quite soft but cannot justify the $ where one could literally go to Joanne Fabrics and buy the same type of fabric for the fraction of the cost. Keep this in mind if you consider it as we returned it.

Total waste of money
I’m not sure what happened to the rest of the reviews that were previously listed on this item, but I felt compelled to leave my own considering how expensive this item was and how awful it performed.I was looking for a wrap that was a softer material than my Moby wrap. Solly is one of the more popular wraps used by “influencer moms” online that only dress their babies in bamboo, have a Nuna system and bounced back after baby in a day, so I figured it was a solid investment for a nice way to wear my baby.I loved this wrap at first. It’s very soft and the material is easy to loop through itself so you can get it on quick. It looks nice and is comfortable to wear as an accessory so I can just include it in my outfit for the day just in case I need to scoop baby up and throw on me.But this wrap ended up being absolutely awful and a huge waste of money. It stretches out SO much within minutes of putting my baby in it. She’s only 8lbs, so it’s not like she’s too heavy considering the weight limit is 25lbs. She’ll start out up on my chest and within 10mins be down below my sternum. I can wrap it as tight as possible, making my baby uncomfortable for the first few minutes even, but it’ll stretch and be useless in no time.I’m returning this product and getting a second Moby wrap for half the price.

Chunky thigh abrasions
A caution to moms- REALLY loved and depended on this carrier, but recently found these abrasions on my babe’s chunky thigh after wearing him for awhile while I ran around doing house work.I’ve never had an issue before so I assumed it was because I didn’t have the fabric distributed properly, plus I had him in a super thin footie. So after it was all healed up I very carefully gave it another shot. Paid close attention to everything and didn’t wear him long. Abrasions showed up again! He’s 4.5 months old, going on about 18 pounds. Have to assume it has something to do with his size since it hadn’t happened prior.

Great wrap, color off.
This is definitely the most comfortable wrap available, we've already tried several and none of them worked well for both my baby and I. I was able to figure out how to wrap it and get my baby comfortably situated in it from watching their videos just a couple times. The is my first baby and he is just 2 weeks old and breastfeeding and gassy/crying a lot so we were struggling to find a way to soothe him other than me always being on the couch with him or constantly rocking/walking him and this has already helped tremendously. My only issue is the color....I got the Orion color to go with my wardrobe for when we're ready to venture out of the house. This color looks like a smokey dark grey in the pictures, which is exactly what I wanted, but in reality it is more of a bluish lighter gray. Normally I would have returned it because for the price I would never wear something I wasn't totally satisfied with but we were in a slight crisis mode to find a carrier that would work for him and me so I just kept it.
