Does what it says, splits HDR/4K60 video, but when sending to an HDMI selector switch, expect dropouts.
I bought this thinking i could cascade this unit with a standard hdmi selector switch.. it didnt work out so great. As far as the device itself goes, yes it passes the hdr / hdcp 2.2 and 4k60 signal from a ps4 just fine.. but send this to a selector switch and you will run into blackouts. I was using a splitter to send a signal to another tv in another room and also to send one to the elgato hd60 capture device for when i would capture gaming on the ps4 pro/xbox1..When sending the output to an hdmi selector switch (i tried 3 different brands).. the video would drop/blackout randomly.I believe the only real solution there is an hdmi distribution amplifier splitter which can run $150-$300 or more. For now I'm relying on manual switches to send my video to another tv and just connecting the hd60 inline if video capture is desired.I suppose if you are sending this directly to a tv then it may not be an issue.

Works flawlessly
Premium quality compared to other splitters I have used. Metal case, good display, and has weight to it. It also happens to be 4x more expensive than other splitters I have used = P, but those other splitters have had weird problems and feel cheap. There is a newer model of this that supports 18 Gbps. I'd recommend purchasing that version instead.
