Warms up tortillas nicely. Setting the timer higher does not necessarily make the tortilla more malleable. It depends if you are doing corn or wheat what number setting you want for the perfect one. I remember reading in the instructions about it but i threw it out. When trying to toast it several times to make tostadas( not it's purpose) it works but often will have to unplug it or use my non metal knife to fish it out. Takes a couple practice ones to figure out which setting and how many times is best for it to be crunchy but not browned. I took a star off for the timer beep that gives me a heart attack. The tone of it sounds like a very serious alarm and gets me every time. Also I had to use Stackry to fwd it to me in Canada. No more needing to find a clean flour sack towel to wrap the tortillas to warm in the microwave

Super cool appliance,it could have gone to 6 on settings..Im a mexican that likes somewhat hard tortillas,but you can put it threw twice..good to have on table so your not getting up to heat at stove.

I bought this based on reviews from other Latin Americans. However, I find it disappointing. First off if you like steamed tortillas which is how most restaurants serve them (soft and floppy) then it's ok. You set it to 5 and the tortillas flop out when you tilt it downward after a minute.However, as someone who grew up with tortillas on an open flame gas stove, this is hugely disappointing, you end up having to run it 2-3 times and then you are no longer talking 60 seconds as promised but three minutes.So at that point, are you saving time? I have a comal (griddle) that I place on my induction range and I can do 3 tortillas at once so I would have to say no you are not saving any time with this.

Before I ordered this, I read a lot of mixed reviews. It seems that the biggest problem is the catching mechanism that holds the tortillas in a position to be toasted, is lightly built. So, I have been very gentle with mine since I got it. Having said that, this little toaster has been a real blessing around here because everyone here just loves tacos as a quick and easy meal when there is very little else in the house. And we've likely cooked about a thousand tortillas so far. This machine is far easier than heating the tortillas in the traditional way - flat on the griddle. Now, we always keep a package of tortillas and a big tub of sour cream in the refrigerator, ready to go.

Worked fine but for only bout 2 1/2months. Then it stop locking and heating up. Very disappointed in this purchase.

Would be nice if it did larger tortillas but I’m happy with it

The media could not be loaded.  I only have used this tortilla warmer a few times. But I was trying it out today, I heated four tortillas, and when I went to heat a few more, the part that you push back, so the warmer will heat, would not stay held back for the warmer to heat up. So, consequentially it would not stay and will not warm the tortillas. So make sure you test this out before your 30-day guarantee is up because there is no returning it, and this is $80.00 down the drain. I am trying to figure out how to fix it, and there is no one to contact for this product. Good Luck, I was so excited when I bought my tortilla warmer. I hope this does not happen to you!

Purchased 2 of these last July, one as a gift. My friends broke within 60 days. Mine lasted about 6 months. Mechanism that holds the toaster part back to warm just stopped working on both, now must use something to hold it back in order to work. DO NOT RECOMMEND. The 30 day warranty is inadequate!!!
