Yes, China is involved in this product as the packaging specifically states “packaged in China”

Q: Can you use these to hold hot pots? Or Will these melt (like microfiber cloths)?

These can hold hot pots! They are made of a just cotton and cellulose (no plastic!) so can handle the heat without melting like a dishcloth or sponge.

Q: Are the colors right? It looks like some of them are out of order. I don’t want to receive the wrong ones.

I don’t know what you mean by “out of order”. There are 5 cloths. The colors are right.
