I think it works when you do not have it in the lunchbox with the cooling packs. It cools down very quickly when in the lunchbox with cold packs!

Alternate Lunch Ideas
My grandson is not a big sandwich eater, he goes to a private school, so there isn't a cafeteria. A co-worker reminded me of the good, old faithful thermos! At the beginning of the school year, I bought one at Target, my grandson accidentally threw it away! When I went back to buy another, they were all gone. Checked Amazon and found this and it's been great! It keeps his food warm as promised, I've had no problems. Seller was great! Delivered on time as promised.
