BriRus K1422WLP White Low Profile Single Pane Exterior Skylight Kit

This was a good fit for the skylight in my trailer that had been smashed by a pine cone. Easy to install with the included sealant. The hardest part was removing the old skylight and scraping off all the old sealant. A couple holes didn't line up but it was quick work with a drill to make it attach perfectly.This looks so good I'm going to get another to replace my other skylight, which has yellowed quite a bit over the years.

Arrived in the promised time frame, no breaks, everything looks fine after installed. It included a tube of SR-140 skylight butyl sealant, which I was not expecting (thank you!). No screws, but I wasn't expecting screws. Gave it a 4-star rating simply because there were no instructions included. This was my first 'major' repair, so would have been nice to have instructions in hand. Even still, watched a lot of YouTube videos, and felt comfortable enough to proceed with installation on my own.

Fast delivery and nice construction. Just be careful to align the top with the bottom before securing them in place.

Just OK. It's much thinner than I expected. The outer dome is easily deflected with just the push of a finger.Also, I'm trying to figure out if I want to keep or return. I ordered the bronze tinted version. It's really just a light tint, nearly a light colored smoke and very transparent. The inner dome that came with it is frosted. Why would you want a transparent dome if not to see the sky.... and then only to cover up the view with a frosted inner dome?I'm replacing an opaque white dome, so this will probably just let in a bit more light, which I don't really want.I was hoping the bronze tint would be much more reflective and filter out a higher percentage of the total light than this one does.

Local dealers had no idea what I needed. Found this product on Amazon, came quickly, fit perfectly, and installed easily. Kit is complete with inside, outside and high quality sealant. I found the amount of sealant to be just right for two beads under, one over and to cover the screws and had just enough to do the sewer vent I replaced at the same time. I don't give it five stars because it is a little thinner than I would prefer, but still thicker than my original. My original was a very high profile, always hitting branches etc, this one is a nice low profile.

Good old cheap over priced plastic. But they all the RV skylights are.
